Cheap 40-80gb hard drive?

Im lookin for a deal on a cheap 40-80gb hard drive without rebates (if possible, if there are then i dont want to pay over 100 at the store though). Preferably a 7200rpm 8mb cache one.

Or if anyone wants to sell me one, that would be cool too

you won't find a (new)40gb cheaper than that, unless you know about a place I don't know about.

That may have been a weekend + mem. day only thing. No mention of it on the site now. Just a $30 160GB offering but that ties up $100 of your money in rebates.

The only decent prices *without* rebates on hard drives is going to be online, from my experience, and there an 80GB drive will run around $60 or so. check out www.newegg.com for an idea.

Ive already checked newegg, I was hoping for some great deal on a 40 or something . I knew I should have bought 2 of those maxtor 80gb hard drives for 30 last black friday

yeah i work for staples and the 250 drive is definatly YMMV some how we ended up with 2 at our store, but both sold quickly. They also have a 80 gig external on clearance for 38.50 but again YMMV
