I've read a few posts in the past about a cheaper alternate to the 360 wireless adapter and now the time has come where I actually need one.

Thanks

The WGA11B is definitely the way to go for a cheaper alternative to the IMHO overpriced 360 wireless adapter.

If your wireless network doesn't use WPA or WEP, it's dirt-simple to setup. If you do use WEP or WPA, make sure you download the configuration program from the Linksys website instead of using the one which comes on the CD with the adapter. The CD installer is bugged and doesn't work right.

I've had mine for about a year now, used it with the original Xbox and now the 360. I haven't noticed any problems whatsoever with lag or download speeds.

Thanks for the info, you just saved me some serious bucks

I have the logitech wireless adapter. It's essentially a repeater and far less clever than anything above. But it works, no lag in Halo 3 multiplayer and at 15 bones(on woot) can't be beat price wise. I'm it can be found somewhere for less.
