Man, that's exactly what I was saying ... I subscribed to this thread so I got an email today from it and was all excited. At first I was like :D but then I was like >:| ... wish I had a deal to post myself.
 
while there was a separate thread for this, someone posted Call of Duty Black Ops prestige edition for PS3 only it seems right now got moved to used at GS. $54.99 used price is pretty solid for brand new.

While im not the biggest fps fan I did already have the game so just returned my regular edition one and essentially got it for free. The car is pretty cool minus the fact between it and the remote taking 12 AA batteries ... yes 12

The only thing im concerned about is that isn't the GS version the one that has the joker jack in the box? I think other stores have something less cool
 
Updated the OP to include all Amazon FSSS prices where available. Thought it was weird having Cursed Mountain be the only one with its price listed.

Yup. GS had the jester jack-in-the-box, while all other stores (including BB) had the doctor jack-in-the-box.

Just an FYI; be careful if you are buying CE/LE/SE etc from Newegg. I have noticed a bad trend with them lately where if the gameg will fit an an envelope then they are going to ship it in an envelope...

and even when I have bought multiples or a larger CE that has to go in a box they haven't done the greatest job packing it.

They are nowhere near as bad as TRU when it comes to packing items but still a far way away from Amazon when it comes to quality packing.

Heck, even Best Buy and Gamestop do a much better job.
 
Sorry guys, this is long over due but 2 weeks ago I found Two Worlds Royal Edition for $18 (converted to used) and Bioshock 2 Special Edition for $8 (converted to used). Bought 1 of each for each system. I should've posted sooner. Good luck!

Also some of these are in the back stock room. I would look around the top shelves of the store first and if I didn't seen any then I would ask them. If they tried searching their computer, I would tell them I know it has been converted to used and would ask them to check the back room.

The Force Unleashed 2 CE is $50 on Newegg. The Amazon price is correct though.

Debating if I wanna return my unopened $14 regular copy from Target to order the CE from Amazon.
 
The STFUII pricing would be ok if the seller didn't want another $8 for shipping. The Catherine Collector's Edition is awesome for $60 though. May have to finally pick that up.
 
I don't mean to upset the people who get email notifications from this thread but do you guys think Alan Wake CE will be discounted on black friday?
 
I've seen it on sale a few times, you just have to keep an eye out for it. I think I saw it for $29.99 a while back; don't recall where though.

eStarland had it for $27.99 earlier in the year (link to thread), Best Buy had it for $29.99 at one point (may have been last year) and Walmart had it for $39.96 this past summer (link to thread).

Unfortunately at the time of those sales I didn't know that it was an awesome game. I only realized this after I played it at a friends house over the weekend. So now I have to play the collector's edition price drop waiting game.

Since we are somewhat off topic - Alan Wake was one of the only games I've really gotten into enough to finish it (3 times actually) in order to get all the achievements.

I know about Heavy Rain for the PS3 - are there any other similar story driven games that anyone would recommend that I should enjoy if I loved Alan Wake? (If this is too off-topic, I'll move it).

Try Deadly Premonition, it's like Alan Wake...but weird(er).

I think I've probably said this too many times now....Deadly Premonition is everything Alan Wake screwed up on and should have been without everything Alan Wake did well and vice versa. I feel they compliment one another very well, and if the two were to combine it would be one amazing game. And if you like Twin Peaks, its basically a Twin Peaks video game.
 
I have that game (still sealed), guess it's time to try it out. :)

And yeah, I like Twin Peaks.

I wonder how long it will be before Uncharted 3 CE drops. I saw a stack of 12 of them at Best Buy, and it seems to be in stock at just about every Gamestop, as well as available at GS online, and Amazon. Looks like another overproduced special edition. Come on, 59.99 Black Friday!

Compared to other CE's (Halo Reach, Gears of War 3 Epic Edition, Killzone 3, etc) I wouldn't classify this in the extremes of over produced. It comes in a large box and takes up a lot of shelf space. I'm not sure why your BB ended up with so much inventory as most in my area have 4 or less. I don't think it's selling very well either but why a best buy would take in even 12 additional copies on top of what was reserved for preorders is beyond me.

They dont need to be over produced to go on sale. I never ONCE saw a Littlebigplanet 2 CE in a store... and that got clearenced. inFAMOUS 2 was a rather uncommonly seen CE, but that too got clearenced... so its really a matter of when than anything else.
 
I still haven't found Alan Wake CE brand new at a good price. I checked Kmart and they were out. I swear someone either on here or on SD offered to sell me a brand new Alan Wake CE for $35 shipped but I can't find who it was or on what forum :[

Right, oddly, BB and Amazon would often beat each other to the drop. Halo Reach Legendary hit 50 bucks on Amazon but Best Buy clearanced Black Ops Prestige for 90 bucks well before Amazon had a sale on it.

I see Uncharted hitting cheap (50 or less) on Amazon by February if not before then.
