Cheap ass Tempurpedic Mattress?

When we stayed in Provo, Utah, they had beds that were exactly like the Tempurpedic beds at the Sleep Store. This was one of the most inexpensive rooms at the Hampton Inn, as I recall. Seeing as they were in a hotel, they can't have been expensive. We wanted to find out where they came from, but didn't remember to ask. :/

are the imitation ones are just as good? there are some for like $400 on the cag grabber, though I could probably find one at a discount mattress for cheaper.

hate to tell you guys, my dad works at sleep country here in washington, and you wont find a cheap tempurpedic matress ANYWHERE. at least not one that's real.

Tempurpedic regulates the prices of the mattress themselves. Had you boughten one actually, 8 monthes ago, you would of found them 400-500 bucks cheaper. the rising fuel cost caused a spike in the price due to the tempurpedic's being made by pressure and oil mostly.

I comprised and bought a Tempur-pedic "pad" for ~$150. I laid it on top of my regular mattress, and it does feel better. Only flaw is that it tends to trap body heat (more mass) which is okay in winter, but sucks in the summer.

If you live in the MA/RI area, Job Lot is selling memory foam mattresses (not TempurPedic brand) for $599 Queen/$699 King. They are offering a 30 day money back guarantee.

tempurpedic mattresses take about 30 seconds to a minute to adjust to your body heat. The heat transfers to your body and conturs it. The good foam tempuredic uses doesn't trap heat.
