Cheap Box Sets at Blockbuster YMMV

Blockbuster still doesn't read their own signs or know their own deals.

I've been able to get Simpsons Season 3, Sex and the City Season 3, and Sopranos Season 3 all at Blockbuster at various times using their 2 for $20 deal. That's $10 for each (and $10 for another movie). They are all in perfect condition. Plus it was all with credit from their high trade-in prices.

Their were some others there too that I wasn't interested in... Cedric the Entertainer Season 1, Monty Python's Flying Circus (a few volumes) and Space 1999.

I suggest everyone look at their BBs and see if they have any used box sets.
 
I havent seen any box sets at mine, but I would expect them to sell it at a per disc rate. I'm planning to see what a couple of my DVD sets would sell for there, so I'll ask what they plan to do with them.
 
I think that's what he's saying. None of the BBs around me do trade-ins, so the only stuff they sell are their old rentals.

Yeah, they were traded in. SATC and Simpsons were marked at $29.99 and Sopranos was marked at $49.99. They aren't supposed to sell anything above $19.99 for their 2 for $20 deal but the computer accepts it.

EDIT: Like I said, they were all in mint condition though.
