how are those cheap? KH2 guide for $20.. cripes that's like $5 less than a used copy of the game.. cheap to me is $5 or less for a LE guide..
What's the deal with the LE Zelda guide?
I dunno but I'm glad I got it for $12 at Borders because I'm not payin' $5 more for it.

I looked at the LE guide for Zelda in EB games the other day. It is extremely nice. I am almsot thinking about getting it.

$12 for the Prima LE hardcover guide? I think $12 is the price for the GC guide. I have the GC version of the game myself, but I'm considering buying the hardcover guide if I can get it on the cheap...
There's an intermediate Zelda guide, are you sure it's not that one?
Mine's not the collector's edition. It says "Limited Edition"

there's a zelda one that looks like a bible, it has gold trim on the pages and is hardbound. it's like 29.99 at gamecrazy. looks awesome though.

Pssst.

The LE Zelda guide with the gold trim and cloth map is $17.99 at Best Buy in store.

I didn't know this. I saw it at 19.99, decided using a GGC on it was good enough for me, so I checked out. I noticed the clerk was taking a little longer than I thought he would. Turns out it rang up 17.99, but he overrode the coupon's 19.99 limitation anyway, giving it to me for 12.99.

At the worst you can get it for 17.99, aye?

Edit: Wanted to add this - oddly, the LE guide was next to the other Prima guides (both the Wii and GC versions), and they were marked 19.99 as well. So go figure on that.

DO NOT BUY THE XENOSAGA II LE GUIDE!!! The binding fell apart on it almost immediately when I purchased it when it first came out. Apparently this is common of the XSII LE guide from what I had read on another message board. It's a decently-written guide, but I wouldn't pay money for a shoddily-made product like this.

Strell-I've gotta ask you about it, because I'm not interested in it as an actual guide so much as a collector's item. How is the presentation, and especially the artwork? Are the 400-and-something pages actually fleshed out?
