Cheap PC headset

I'm looking for a cheap PC headphone/microphone combo for online games. I've seen a lot of things varying in price from $20 to $80, and I don't really know what to get. I would prefer not to spend over $35 or so. Also, do all headsets play both the voices I would hear over a program (like Ventrilo) and all other sounds on my computer, like the games, or is it just one or the other?

If you have a Frys check out their selection, I bought a nice headset for online gaming and only paid $9.99 and they also had cheaper ones if you wanted a even cheaper one.

No Fry's up here on the east coast. Also, I forgot to mention I don't want something that will be completely soundproof. I want to remain at least semi-aware of my surroundings.
