Anybody know where I can get a cheap portable DVD player? I see Elder-Beerman has one for $70 after $30 rebate. It comes with a car adapter and remote control. Is this a good deal? I want it for family trips so it doesn't have to have a remote but would like to have a car adapter though.

I've got one I never use... Don't remember much about it, though. I only used it once or twice and put it in a closet and forgot about it after that... Want to buy a lightly used one? I can look up specifics if you're interested.
Best Buy has a decent Zenith (LG) with free external 4300mAh battery for $130, excellent picture. Reliable make too. (I had 2 nice Panasonics bite the dust with the infamous drive error.) They also had a car-based Panasonic with 2 7" screens for about $150, includes a controller to play some built-in games. You also get the external battery free with that. Check the bestbuy.com website.
