Anyone know any eBayers selling cheap postal scales? Around $20 for a digital one, preferably.

Doesn't have to be on eBay. Any trustworthy site will do. I'm just not willing to fork out $40+ for a scale. 5 lb limit is fine too.

I don't think a digital is needed for a postal scale, unless you're doing drug scaling.

I have found a WM food scale 7lb non-digital for 8.50.

Stamps.com or USPS.com were giving away a crappy 2lb scale....

I think WM also had a $25 dollar digital that went up to 5lbs.

Thank you hope. Paid a little more than I wanted for a scale, but it's a good one hopefully. Comes from a seller with 100,000 feedback so I'm not worried.

Just in case anyone else is looking at this topic, there's also a digital scale at Wal-Mart (the Royal ds3) that goes for around $15 that's been really good for me. It only has a three-pound capacity but that's enough for most things.

I just looked on walmart.com. The only scales I saw were for weighing people. Didn't see anything appropriate for weighing mail.

Yeah, for some reason it looks like they don't have them on the website. In the store they're with the office supplies, right by the padded envelopes, which I would think would be pretty consistent from store to store. I've seen them there as recently as about a month or so ago.

The $10 one from DealExtreme is great! I've saved quite a bit using the Paypal MultiOrder shipping with it, too.[/quote]

Thanks for the tip... I wasn't familiar with DealExtreme at all, and ended up buying like $35 worth of stuff when I was done looking around. I mean, how could I resist a $10 scale? A $3 bluetooth dongle?
