Staples is also running a promo where you trade in your old printer and get around $50 bucks towards a new one (in a certain price bracket of course). If you can't find a printer, it's usually easy to get an old used one from CL's, ppl give those things away all the time.

Same here I have one worthless Epson and a decent Lexmark but looking to upgrade to a Brother with wireless.

Target has some HP and Epson all-in-ones on clearance. Look for the HP Deskjet F4280. It's exactly the kind of printer you're looking for. I got it for $24.48.

Yep, definitely check out the clearance endcaps at your local target - I got a Canon Pixma MP480 for $12.50 today.

Regarding the Staples trade in deal, it is still going on. There is no minimum price but its only for HP printers, which means is basically a non-deal. If you're going to be doing a lot of printing you should get a Brother printer and don't even consider anything else. I know for a fact that Epson and Lexmark are ink hogs and I assume HP is too because their printers always get terrible customer reviews.

Funny thing is the old HP printers are ing great. I own one from 1998 and it's still kicking. Plus the ink tank is 45 ml almost three times what ink tanks from lexmark are. Plus the fact that I find the ink dirt cheap also makes it a great buy. Too bad Carly Florine sank HP and after that all printers became shit. Though HP printers tend to be hit or miss. Mainly hit as long as you don't get their dirt cheap pieces of crap. You need to at least spend 200 on an HP printer to get one of quality.

at Wal-Mart there are some Cannon All-In-One's for 40 bucks..picked one up for my girlfriend and it has decent quality

Target had an Epson NX100 all in one for $28 while I was there. Seems ok, bought two.

IMO stay clear of Brother printers. They have this ANNOYING feature that disables all functions if you happen to run out of ink. Only way to use scan/copy is to do it through your computer, and even with that you still can't print if your printer is out of any one ink cartridge. That and they drink ink like a hummer drinks gas.
