Cheap Train Tickets?

Hi! I am looking for the cheapest train tickets possible. It would be for the end of july for 2 people to Chicago. Anyone have any sites to watch for deals, or any promo codes to help knock down the price a bit? Thanks in advance!

If you have an Amtrak rewards account and you book more than 2 weeks in advance, you can very often get the tickets half-off. It still isn't super cheap, but the half off really helps.
