I'd like to get a couple gamecube Wavebirds, maybe two or three, though I wouldn't want to pay more than $20 each. Anyone know where I can pick up a few of them for a good deal?
Seems like now that every one has jumped on the "wireless" bandwagon most places have raised the prices.

bump for interest.
I've been searching around online, and at most big chains they're $35. Wal Mart is the cheapest, at $27. I'm hoping that as the next gen consoles build up steam the prices drop even more, but I don't want to wait too long and miss out completely.

If there is a good deal somewhere, I wouldn't mind getting four of them. Completely wireless, four-player Mario Kart battles? Yes please.
no rumble on the wavebirds which kills it for me...
True...and the battery compartment in the back can get a little uncomfortable...but they're still great controllers.

I wish I still had one. Mine got stolen from my dorm room a few years ago.
i rather wait till those gamestop/eb buy 2 get 1 use free sale and get 3 used wavebird for less then $35 with edge or discount card
Yeah, that's an awesome deal, but buying used controllers is always risky business. I hate the thought that people's sick hand grime is stuck in every one of the controller's crevices.

Indeed. You don't know how others handle their controllers either. Some just totally get too into the game and control their movement. Bashiing the controller and what not. If you do find some used ones, just go buy some at wal-mart and return the old ones. Works all the time. As long as they don't look too damaged, but the people don't know anything anyways.

I need new ones too for our smash brothers.
