cheap wired router?

Hello,

Am a noob with networking... am looking to get on Live with a cheap wired router - need simple, router (don't need anything fancy at all - no firewall needed either since PC already has one) to connect 360 and PC to a cable modem.

Any suggestions? (probably getting it at BB)

I would get a wireless just incase you ever want to expand. All GOOD wireless routers have wired inputs.

Check out the WRT54G (Linksys). It is $10 more than the wired version, but wireless gives you freedom if you get a laptop or another wireless device.

Buying a wired router would be a waste of $$$. Theres is no savings over buying wireless.

I use that one. It's a nice, simple router. It's constantly got that rebate on it, too. A little cheaper at New Egg:

Best Buy had a Linksys router on sale for 40 bucks last week. I bought one myself, it works good.
