Cheap Wireless Optical Mouse?

For some reason my Targus Wireless Optical Mouse has started acting strange. The scroll wheel is very erratic. I'm guessing it's dirty inside, but I can't open it up to clean it.

Anybody have any tips, or better yet do you know of any good deals on mice?

dont use wireless mice.

theyre a pain an the anus unless you spend a ton on one.

The best wireless one you can get right now is Logitech's MX1000, and it's laser, not optical (Better), though it's about $65. You might be able to get the equally responsive MX700 cheaper. Anything that's too generic or plain will end up not working well.

Dont about the reliability but there is one on www.tigersurplus.com for about 12 bucks. the Logitach Click! or some such.

I picked up a Microsoft wireless optical mouse last Black Friday for $8. I've had no problems at all.

Yeah. Try Office Depot or Office Max. Every once in a while they'll have Microsoft's Wireless Mouse (the one that IGN gave high marks to) for about $20 AR. Almost got my girlfriend that but I ended up getting her the MX-1000 instead. GREAT mouse, by the way.

About 2 months ago I bought an ergonomic GE wireless optical mouse for 20 bucks , no sale or anything that was the regular price. Not sure if they still carry them or not but well worth a shot, I like it a lot.
