aww the joys of screwing over best buy....

just today i got a free reward zone membership thanks to a coupon on this site.

but i brought this out further to be able to take $15 off of a new copy of the LE Jade Empire with the good ol gamer giftcards :) so add on an extra $20 normal gift card i already had, i got jade empire for a measly $16.47.

add some commotion of backed up lines due to confusion with the gamer coupon and confusion of cashiers and you defintely get some cheapass fun

And how'd you get $15 off one game? They let you use 3 coupons on one game, or am I reading it wrong? Wish my BB had clueless cashiers.
 
So, you got to get $15 off my using Gamers Gift cards (which they allow atleast 1 anyway, so you 'saved' $10), and you had a 20 giftcard from whatever reason...How is this bragging? You saved $10! OMG!

They normally allow you to use 1 per game. This guy was so 'slick' he got to use 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow! He is my newbie hero!

i kno it's not a huge haul, and i see gift cards as not TRULY saving money, but i got it as a present so it was free money to me which led me to only pay 16.47 out my own pocket.

plus u can only use one?? i wouldnt see y u cant otherwise they should just put a coupon block into the cash register's program to block further use of multiple coupons.

meh, not our problems that we kno how to exploit their own deals 8)

o and i got the free reward zone membership from a coupon that was posted on one of the other boards here, unsure if that coupon is still valid so if u find it definitely try it out, i think it was on the "Request Deals" board
 
So you're saying Bestbuy would be ok with you bringing up 10 of the Gamers Gift cards and getting a game for free? Yeah, all the .10 you spent for the gift cards and getting a game for free.
 
well if BB doesnt bother to take note of that with their system and cashiers, then it isnt any of our problems to exploit the deals that they give us, and i think they started making people put a minimum of $5 on a gift card anyways

So did the cashier have to manually override the computer when you gave her 3 $5 off GGC coupons or did the system take the $15 off automatically?

Berating others? Yeah, I have close to 1,300 posts, I'm sure every single post I have done is useless. You're right. That must be it. I have nothing to contribute. I;m sorry, shall I post here everytime I use a coupon at a store, or take advantage of a deal? Because if so, you'll see a post everyday from me. I use a coupon every day. Guess I should start then, right? Since the OP's thread was SUCH a huge contribution here.

Who cares how many posts you or anyone else has? I sure as hell don't. Nobody does. My point was not to point out that he really contributes to the site, only moreso than you do. You always mention someone's rank, their post count, or something they did wrong in such a negative way. Can't you just do it politely?

I 'always' mention. I think ive mentioned it a total of 3 times since Ive been on this site, that's hardly 'always'.
