cheapass bubble packages?

I get mine at Wal-Mart but the ones I get are for trading cards not games so I dunno. They're cheap though.

Wal-Mart sells Duck Brand 6inX9in protective bubble wrapped mailers. They have a 5 pack for $2.42 maybe a little less. They work great for cd/dvd size cases...

[quote name='briansraregames']This site is great if you're going to need more than just a few. I usually get the #0 padded envelopes and they run me about $0.15 each, I usually buy in quantites of 200 though.

That's a nice site.

12.5 cents each for DVD/CD size mailers - 6" x 10" when you buy the minimum quantity of 100.

Factor in shipping and you pay 20 cents a piece. Still a good deal.

Same here, they work great and I've looked at Wal-Mart, and because I was even desperatly needing 2 envelopes, I ended up buying 3 for $2 at Walgreens... :(

So I was at Sam's Club, and I found these and for $5! I was actually going to buy 10 of these on eBay for $5, so to get 25 for $5 was too great.

One recommendation, if you're buying bubble mailers.

Spend the extra money to get the plastic/poly mailers, which cost a little bit more, though they're moisture resistant and will take care of getting wet due to rain pretty well. The paper mailers have bubblewrap on the outside, though they still can get wet/soaked and do damage to the contents inside.

bah. Make your own.
Manila envelope at 1/2 of 1 cent, maybe up to 1 cent each.
Bubble wrap at 25 cents per foot?

Grab 1 foot of bubble wrap. Cut roughly a 2 inch by 1 foot strip. Just cut a strip maybe 6 bubbles down. Place the game on the bigger sheet and place the strip in the middle on the top. Now you can fold the bigger sheet up and over the strip, tape it across the middle and one piece of tape across the top and bottom.

Congrats, you've shipped using approx 2 cents worth of materials. Seriously.

You know now that it's almost winter I'll have to recommend those poly/plastic envelopes because we have community mailboxes and if I don't pick up the mail for a few hours and it's raining I could potentially lose a game.

I buy mine at Kmart though, they have size 0 with extra spacing (the plastic mailers) , I use those for multiple games (up to three DVD cases fit) I get a 5 pack for like $3. For singles I've been using the paper type.
