I was actually going to but I was at our cousin's house and I didn't have my CC with me....damn!

thanks guys I really appreciate it a lot

questions...

is Corsair better or equal to Sandisk? it's about $2 more compared to a Sandisk 8gb one (thanks to Thongsy)

And KaleKatsura, is that flashdrive reliable? I mean it's the cheapest one I've seen so far, how how good and durable per se is it actually is? anyone?

So basically, I'm stuck with the Sandisk 8gb Cruzer Micro for $30 with shipping i think OR the 8gb flash drive bul from Micro Center which is $19 but with $5 shipping which comes down to about $25....which one should I get?

any pros and cons with these two?

So far, everything I've seen with it is good, the only really complaint i have is that it can be hard to get the cap off of the USB end sometimes ( Big fingers + Sweat= bad for gripping small flat objects.) My dad has a 2 gig one from them in.

i saw what I think is a 1 gb flashdrive I think its memorex that disguises itself as a poker chip being sold at Frys for 4.99 with some back-to-school sale..

(have no idea what poker chips have to do with back to school) ~go figure~

thanks I actually didnt see the rebate thing with the Sandick at Amazon, so Im going with the flashdrive at cheapcheapcheap.com for about $18-$19...
