cheapest place to get an r4 for the ds? without memory card?

Although it's not the absolute cheapest, I have to recommend www.echostore.com. I ordered my R4 through them a few months ago and received it in less than 48 hours, and I'm in Wisconsin. Like I said, not the best price you'll find, but the service was awesome.

Yeah, that sounds like the way to go. Didn't have any problems ordering from DX but shipping took almost 3 weeks (granted, it was free). I'd pay a little extra and go with echostore instead.


BTW, watch out for bootleg R4's. They look just like the originals except there's a sticker on front that says "4GB Version" or something like that.
 
Wonder if discussion of such an item is allowed. Yesterday I actually ordered one from echostore with the discount code e1068 which gives you 10% off. They are trying to charge me $52.xx when the order was $46.xx. I'm not sure what is going on there, but even if those pigs want to rip me off, I used a shopsafe number with a max of $48, so good luck to them.

DX is pretty crazy with pricing these things. When I got mine early this summer, it was $32 shipped. Shipping is slow but at these prices, who cares?
 
hm, okay. i guess ill be going with dealextreme since i have time to wait for it, and since school is in session.. ill make sure to order it tomorrow! but has anyone ever had a problem with them before?
 
i just got one......its really good. the homebrew apps are nice...and of course the other side of things. I wish had a copy of Day of the tentacle so i can get scumVM to work.

Yeah, I just put the latest version of ScummVM on mine and love it. Runs very smoothly and DS touchscreen works great with it.

yeah i got a couple of nice ones from there...found a nice theme with Leah Dizon on it..hehe.
