With these 3 Adapters you can turn any PS2 Arcade Fight Joystick (Hori, etc) into a universal stick for all 7 systems on the market
1.PS2
2.PS3
3.PC
4.Xbox
5.Xbox360
6.Gamecube
7.Wii

All 3 adapters will run you under 15 plus the cost of the fight stick ..... cheapest way to have a stick for every system, everything including stick cost me under 60$.

Hopefully this helps someone out because I had to go through many fight sticks & spent too much money buying individual sticks per system. With this method you can either buy a Really good ps2 stick or custom make a ps2 one and it'll work for everything.

Nice thread. I may do this eventually. Its a pain not being able to play SF4 on both systems b/c my stick doesn't allow it.

Well just in case people have problems getting a hold of some of the adapters here are some ebay sites that sell them

as for a ps2 arcade fight joystick your on your own because that depends on preference but i can tell you this is the one i got ---> http://cgi.ebay.com/PS3-PS2-USB-PC-...ries?hash=item56345418c6&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
I like it cause its cheap, durable, has both turbo and macro options....and best of all it portable to take anywhere ready to fight....and best of all i can open and replace parts at will like sanwa and such when i feel like it

Reportedly, this is the best adapter for PS2 -> 360. It doesn't drop inputs, and has no lag. $25 before shipping.

Honestly, the cheapest way is to buy a universal PCB for $25 and wire it yourself :p

That 360 adapter works for the original Xbox? The connection doesn't look like it would, and the item description certainly makes no mention of it.

How long do these things usually last? I had one for Dreamcast and it blew out within a year.

Probably won't work with the XBox.
you need a wired xbox 360 controller to use the adapter
All adapters need this. The controller needs to verify with the console to work, so only official and licensed controllers will work, and a hack is needed otherwise.
can you use third party controller or stick (such as fight pad) to use the PS2 to Xbox 360 converter?
yes
I need an Xbox 360 controller to PS3 adapter...
if you install linux os on your ps3 you can use xbox 360 controller on ps3 ...thats the only thing i know of but again it has to be a wired 360 controller

This is good, but I got a bunch of arcade parts laying around I can use to build one a stick out of.
