So, here I am, it's 3 something AM, and I'm surfing though the forums here and I wanted a snack and I got to thinking...

Am I the only person who puts chips ON their sandwiches? Not just with them on the side.... but actually inside. I think it adds a nice texture...

I don't do it in public or anything. It's kinda like my own thing, but i just had to ask.

Ham, cheese, mustard, and any type of Doritos does it for me :D
No I know people who do that and most of them are also cheapasses who won't spend money on lettice.
Now that's pretty damn cheap...

I think I'll try the sandwich thing. I've done fries in burgers, that was good...
i do it all the time, it gives your dull soft sandwich that missing CRUNCH. Any body else mix weird things?
Macaroni and Chees with Peas! Great taste and you get your vegetables without really tasting them.

Awesome! I'm not the only one! I don't have to feel dirty anymore :D

I've used this name online for YEARS now and I think this is my first post about sandwiches.... I'm surprised it's taken this long

I don't think it's because I'm too cheap for lettuce... it's just... why waste room on a perfectly good sammich with something that is tasteless? It adds new flavor and like Twanky said.... crunch! It's just a nice texture!

If anyone gets the idea to try this for the first time after reading this, tell us what ya think and what was on your sandwich.

And you can thank me later

Micky D's cheeseburger with fries on it and a lil bit of their sweet and sour sauce......food of the gods.

My sister likes putting fries on top of her burger (beneath the bun) when eating at fast food joints. I guess this sort of practice isn't too uncommon, but it's certainly nothing I'd ever be interested in trying.

Sure, there are people given to these grotesques practices. There are also people who cannot pass the background check to legally purchase and own some types of weapons. Coincidence? I say not!

I do it every now and then, especially when I don't have many condiments hanging around. I agree that they add nice texture.
Is that tuna salad and chips... or just plain ol' tuna? Either way, I might have to try some of that! \:D/
Tuna mixed with mayo. You need a little moisture for the chips. Seriously the best chips I used with it were cooler ranch doritos.

I do the same sometimes, it's good.

The irony here is that chips probably cost more than lettuce. Unless of course you are going to be eating chips regardless.

Chips with roast beef or turkey, on italian bread with lettuce and tomato. Yum. And I do it in public.

I had a room mate who used to eat bannana's with mayonaise on them.

there's nothing quite as good as sour cream and onion chips on a bologna sandwich

i would go make one now, but it is "soul food day" in this land known as "wurk" and i don't think i can eat another thing

Yes, I put chips on my sandwiches sometimes.
In Japan, they put corn flakes on their ice cream sundaes.

Hope I am not going out on a limb but I have always been down with Peanut butter and jelly and regular potato or ridges. It started from trying to dry up soggy sandwiches at lunch but now I can't fix a peanut butter sandwich with out it, also like to add banana to it as well. Mmmmm
