Choosing the insurance provider

Which is a better insurance company to opt for; a company with a physical office in your area or an online website. Do you feel the need to go to a real insurance office to sort matters out? can't decide between the two so any inputs would be welcome. I stay in Ohio.
 
I had USAA for years without an office around. Never needed one. The vast majority of things can be done via phone or email regarding insurance. Go with the better deal regardless of where the office is located.
 
both my car and renters insurance are handled online with no office nearby. the one time ive had to use my car insurance was very easy and quick (cant imagine having an office would have helped). go with the best deal as long as its a reputable company.
 
I’ve never had any problems with my OH car insurance because I go through an agent, and when you need to settle a claim, it’s your insurance agent you turn to. That’s what you pay him for.
