There's also some video sharing service or something ervice called Amema Vision that is out in Japan. Ameba Vision allows PSP camera owners to upload the videos they've created with their cameras to the web to share with friends.

This thing would be cool if it were 3.0 megapixels. My damn cell phone is 1.3 megapixels. I think it's too expensive for what it does. At least the darn Xbox Live Vision Camera works with both the 360 and PC.

I just don't think cameras (that aren't built in) on handheld devices are even worth it anymore. Just clutter in my eyes.

I like the GPS device though. Because GPS's aren't cheap enough for everyone to own, it's sort of a viable option. But 1.3 megapixel cameras? Yeah, that's old now.

BUT! If the camera is used in more games then I'll be a little interested.

Yeah - well, it's another fun toy to add functonality to my PSP - I've seen photos taken by the camera and they are of a decent quality. The videos made by the camera is freakin' awesome. The only issue this peripheral is going to have is lighting. As soon as they make the editing software UMD in English, I'm snapping it up! I want the keyboard and the GPS too... Hurry up, SONY :bouncy: !
 
I just got the Playstation Underground mailer today (nothing but PSP info in there).

I did not see any info or mention of the PSP camera or GPS in there, so maybe it's not coming out anytime in the future? Hell, they never bothered to release the non black PSPs in the US, either.
I dunno, maybe I just go ahead and get the import version.
 
Well, I broke down and ordered it on Monday, along with Kanagaeru Exit for $13 (used the $10 off $60 coupon).. Ended up basically getting free shipping. :)


Hopfully I'll get it today or Monday..
 
OK, I finally got this in today.. I was afraid I would not get it in before Christmas.. Anyway, it's cool you can use the camera directly from the main PSP manus (as long as you have 3.0 firmware)..
But the Editing disk is all in Japanese.. hard to figure out.. Anyon eknow if there's a translation available? I didn't see any listed on gamefaqs..
