Chronological order of CoD

Does anyone know what the chronological order of the Call of Duty series is. I know the order the that the were released in, I wanna know what the order is according to the timeline, For example, Black Ops chronologically comes after World at War.

Call of Duty: World at War - 1942
Call of Duty - 1944
Call of Duty 3 - 1944
Call of Duty: Black Ops - 1968
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - 2011
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - 2016

These are the years each of the games begin with.

Black Ops 2 will hop between a 1970/80 story and a 2025 story.
