Ha... I have a copy of a check from Adelphia for the grand total of one dollar a 4 cents. Almost guaranteed to have cost them more to process, print, and mail that check.

Edit: Crap, I have been defeated.

I had a strange phone bill once. When I moved back to the u.s. my bell canada phone service said I owed $20. I forgot to pay it and the next month it still said I owed $20. Halfway through the month I got a check from them for $15 and the account balance was 0. I have no idea why.

180 miles of driving roundtrip: $15

Cd's listened to during those 2 and a half hours: $30

Seeing your face when you picked up your $0.00 paycheck: priceless

I wouldn't be able to decide whether I should go to the bank to cash it, or frame it. And you know that's one of those "go inside the bank" ones. You can't waste it in a drive-thru and certainly not an ATM. You can only truely enjoy that one inside where you can see the tellers expression. And when she says, "Uhh.. Sir... this check is for zero dollars and zero cents," you can only reply with "Annnnd?"
