Circling EB receipt

Hey all,

Time for another stupid question. Arent EB employees supposed to circle the phrase at the bottom of the receipt, urging us to trade more games in..

I seem to recall some sort of discount if they neglect to do that. Any truth to this..

I believe there used to be something to it, but I think they cancelled it probably a year ago.

If your computer is doing french E instead of '?' just hold CTRL and press SHIFT once. (Might be ALT instead of CTRL but pretty sure it's the former).

I think you got an extra 10% on TIVs if they forgot to circle the receipt. The keyword there is think. The policy could've changed at any time, you need to go in and ask an employee, knowing full well that they can get in trouble for it, and might not even know about the promo themselves.

Call corporate and ASK them. Nothing like taking your receipt back to the store asking them if they are supposed to circle the receipt and then the employee asks to see the receipt. Then he/she looks at it and circles it and says there FIXED !!! :lol:

Yeah I think they discontinued that promo (extra 10% in TIV for an uncircled receipt). The sign is still there though...
