pardon me for being ignorant....but whats the deal with f zero? ive never given it a second look in the stores...the cover just didnt grab my attention...plus the gamecube is my least fav. console....i figured it was a kiddy game where you just fly around shooting stuff....
people so stupid should be shot.
and people who are assholes should suck a big fat one
Mario golf may suck, but no way an EA game is better
Why not? Just because it's produced by EA? They may be a huge, soulless company, but they still make a few more-than-decent games.

DenisDFat- don't make stupid comments. This thread is turning into EA SUX! MaRIOO GuLF is so StuPPPIDd, its for KIDDIESSS!! HAHA!! Anyways, nobody's posted the DVD deals yet. PLease? With a sugar on top? At least Samurai Jack...
EA has never and will never make a single decent game
Well, looking at your list in your sig, neither has anybody else. If you play a few of them you might end up liking something. I would maybe suggest after looking at your sig that you give up games altogether, though.

I love EA games. And honestly, if gamecube ever loses EA as a third party company, then It will be the end of too many great titles...NCAA football, Madden Football, NBA games, SX Burnout 3, Need for Speed, Lord of the Rings games, 007 games, Sims series, Simpsons games, SSx titles!
I think The Nintendo Titles are great, but not enough without EA titles!
I think I will Nab a copy of Metroid from CC!

Not Bestbuy

CC take BB coupon so is very good Deal for Mario World $19.50

I may Pickup Metroid Prime/F-Zero at Bestbuy then Pricematch with CC ads to save taxes :)
Are you sure this is right? I'm reading this as CC will take the $5 off BB coupon? I'm not so sure if that's correct.

Has anyone tried doing a pricematch at Best Buy and using a GGC and it saving them $5 off the pricematch?
I've gotten shot down trying to get BB to match and use the coupon, but others have gotten it to work. I have gotten CC to take the BB coupon, and I haven't heard any failure stories.
I 2nd that guessed, Its pretty much worthless to try and PM at BB with the GGC (ha acronyms)
Save the headache and use the GGC at CC.

I agree, your best bet is to use the GGC at Circuit City. First ask them if they take competitor's coupons. When they say "yes" (and they haven't said "no" yet) you're all set. They'll either give you the straight $5 off, or $5.50 off, depending on the cashier and how they did the transaction. Either way, I wouldn't make a big stink if they don't give you the $5.50 off.

so what should we do with stupid pricks like you?

F-Zero is a classic from back in the 16 bit days gone by. It's just a great series that alot of gamers have been waiting to see reborn. Give it a try, you might like it.

1. people should appoint me their supreme leader, and

2. i tried the original F-Zero. It's a car driving game. i hate Car Driving games.

Meanwhile, back on topic....

How much is Syphon Filter going to be before the $10 gift card? And how do they do that deal with online purchases? (I don't have a Circuit City within 200miles)

If you haven't picked up or even played F-Zero GX for the Gamecube, this would be as good of any time as any to pick it up. I got my copy the day it hit stores along with Soul Calibur II (which I had reserved for a couple of months), and I ended up playing F-Zero a lot more than SCII.

It's challenging, sometimes brutally challenging, but there's also a suprising amount of depth to the game when it comes to the story mode and the garage feature.

F-Zero GX was one of those titles that didn't receive enough attention at the time it was released, and it's well worth picking up to see what you pretty much missed out on in late August 2003.

I was at Fry's today, just scoping things out and the F-Zero's were all regular packaging, while the Metroid Primes were all Players Choice logo'd. While that is certainly not the rule, at least there's a chance that you'll get one of the last non-players choice copies.

what were you saying about stupid people? What cars? Huh? Where?

Supreme leader my a**....

(sorry---off topic mini-rant)
Nice deals!

I highly recommend Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 for PS2 if you like racing games. This is one of the best I've played.
Yes, Need For Speed: HP2 is a great game and the PS2 version is my favorite of all the platforms but one annoying thing about the game is the music is horrible. There are only 4 or 5 songs and they are all pretty bad. Luckily you can turn off the music in the options.

id suggest you save your money and not buy syphon filter...at least not until the price comes down a bit....its getting some pretty bad reviews....it is $49.99 though, before the gift card....and you cant use the gift card on that purchase....its your choice though, but id suggest waiting

The demo of Siphon Filter for the PS2 has been out for awhile and I would have to agreed. The graphics are that great, just a bit better than GTA 3, no where as nice as Metal Gear Solid 2. It just looks like a high resolution version of the PS1 games. It was somewhat enjoyable but I'll probably hold off on buying it until it gets discounted, heavily.

Syphon Filter looks fun but it looks ugly too. I liked the first one never played the second. I was hoping for better. Definitely something to wait for a price drop, which will probably happen in a few months...
