anyone got any cheaper prices on halflife 2 to PM to? I wanna pick it up for $30 or so (i have two comps in my room), and get a free t-shirt

As ever, thanks a lot bro. I had no idea you could get these as early as Thursday!

Pretty quiet week though. Things should be picking up soon, since many stores traditionally have price drops/sales events in Febuary(ish). And they've got to release the PSP sooner or later...

roc's feather]As ever said:
Trust.., I mean Dropout is so consistant, he even got it on a Monday before! :)
Thanks OP. Looks like I'm going to raincheck Republic Commando, and get it at that price when it comes out, sort of like how a few people rainchecked the RE4 deal at Best Buy, and got it for that price when it eventually came out.

There are six seasons of Oz.

44.99 for Season 4 is totally sweet. I got the first three for 50-60 each, and all of them are only 8 episodes each. Season 4 is twice as long as every other season, and you can get it cheaper. Hell of a bargain.

I guess when the sixth season of Oz comes out on DVD, the series finale episode will be much longer than the televised version. Brings back the excitement of waiting for new Oz to come out. Such a great show.

I really appreciate you posting that, but it's really confusing, lol. Any chance you can put spaces in between those? I get confused when looking at prices because I don't know what is to what at times, lol.

Called my friend at CompUSA, they already have apology signs printed for Republic Commando, I guess they printed this ad about a month ago and Lucas Ent. gave them the thumbs up that it would be out by the ad release. She doesn't see why the price wouldn't be honored the week the game is released if you keep a copy of the current ad and go to a store to request a copy of the apology sign. She thinks the ad for the week the game really comes out will also have the same price.
I am also surprised not to see Ray special prices/ I did read this morning that they are putting the movie back into wide release b/c of the Oscar nods, so maybe they are delaying the DVD release to try and squeeze more box office money out of it.
Nope, as my store already has gotten some of our copies in.

I'll let you folks know what CC's price on Ray will be as soon as I find out and can post it. :D

Okay I just found this on DVDTalk's forums. Thanks to Dabaomb for the heads up. I just copied and pasted what he wrote so enjoy. Update price listing accordingly so everyone can find this info of course.
Holy crapzors, they're releasing Ju-On here?! Kinda like what they did with The Ring DVD release, they released Ringu here too. I'll have to check it out. Dunno if I'll get The Grudge though.
Its alreadly been out I rented it at hollywood video when the grudge came. Didnt see the grudge. But I like ju-on though.

I'm torn about whether I should pick up Charmed S1 at Best Buy, or wait for a sale on it somewhere.

On the one hand I want to support the first season release so they put out more seasons, and on the other I've been hitting Ebay pretty hard recently.

Anybody got any input/suggestions for me?
On the plus side, FINALLY KARATE KID COMES ON DVD!!! Are they going to have 40 year old ralph macchio doing commentary?
Karate Kid's been on DVD for a while now. At least the first one anyway. This is a new special edition of the original, packaged with the other three of declining quality. i think i'll wait till this one drops to 19.99 like the Back to the Future trilogy

Really? A couple of years ago I did a search on ebay and all I was coming up with were VCDs of the first 3. I just checked again and it says 2000 was the release date of the first DVD. Oh well, bestbuy.com says that there will be commentary as well, but otherwise, not so much in terms of special features.

I just hope it's not a commentary where the director won't say anything for 20 minutes at a time, and when he does, it's something stupid that you already know. Those commentaries piss me off.
is sealab season 2 when it was still good? the stuff they show on cartoon network now is horrid
Yeah, Season 2 will be a very good pickup. This one includes the Bizarro episode and while many are divided on this episode (you either hate it or love it) I think it was one of the best in the series.

I'm also going to pick it up because of the tribute to Harry Goz this season has in the extras. (voice of Captain Murphy) He died (last year?) and you really didn't hear much about him after his death. I'm interested in seeing what they had to say about his career. He *was* the series IMO.

The Brak Show Vol 1 is also a great pickup - if only for the rapping episode.

For the other Adult Swim fans out there, I noticed that Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law is coming out on DVD as well. (it is for sale over at Amazon already)
is sealab season 2 when it was still good? the stuff they show on cartoon network now is horrid
Speaking of horrid, I have no clue yet why Cartoon Network can't release the next few seasons of Samurai Jack. Sealab and the like get the treatment, but not Jack?!? WTF :(

Actually all four "Karate Kid" films have been on DVD prior to the boxset but however this is the first time that they are all in onx boxset. This is also the first time that the original "Karate Kid" is available in its original Widescreen format as the previous DVD was a pan and scan only disc. $24.99 is a great deal for this four pack, you would be silly to sit around and wait for it to maybe or maybe not drop to $19.99.

That is a good deal on Charmed for $29.99. That has been the best deal I've seen so far and I've been looking.

Thanks for posting the deals. :) I need to use my $15 certificate that I got when I got my GC. I'm thinking about that Mario Sunshine or True Crime that Target has on sale. Are either of those any good?

I've been wondering if they were ever going to release Harvey Birdman on DVD. Thanks for the info.

Maggie, that coupon expires today. I haven't played Mario Sunshine, but if there's nothing that you really want to apply that $15 toward and since you only have another 12 hours or so to spend it, surely it's worth the $1.77 or whatever that you'll pay for it at Target. I bought Zelda with mine when Target had it on sale for $15.88.

I've already got Zelda. I got that on the 2 for $25 deal that EB had during Christmas. I just finished it last week. Good game for sure. I'm about to head out to spend my certificate. Been holding it to the last minute hoping for a deal on X-men Legends. Now I'm down to the wire so I have to make a decision today. hehe Gonna get one of those 2 games at Target if I don't find something I've gotta have at EB. I'm too cheap to let that $15 go. Thanks for the input :)
hmm seems the 2 for $30 deal is still going on at BestBuy.com mighty handy if you can't get ahold of a GGC.
Who is having trouble getting one? I'm sitting on a few right now....
