Horrible - I was hoping Tales of Legendia would at least drop price after reading what you said but before going through the list, but I guess no dice.

Aren't some of these games this cheap already, like Wade Hixton's Counter Punch?

Possibly. I'm just posting directly from the CC list. These lists have definitely had their errors in the past.
 
way to pick up the june sale great job..

Not to much on that list so far but who knows june is a long month and it didn't seem like the real meat and potato titles went on clearance till the second week of may anyways..

Wow 50 cent down below $9 lol I think they should gives these away free..
 
What are the odds of finding a Wade Hixton Counter Punch at CC anymore? Never really took notice of the game but I could go for a complete copy now that I know it exists.

Let's chalk it up to an error, then - I got the game at that price about two weeks ago, and other CAGs confirmed it at the same time. Maybe it dropped at a few stores and not all of them?

Crystal Chronicles is tempting at that price, though I'm not sure if I'll find it. Worth a shot, I guess. :)

I don't think this is supposed to be in place of that. Last June there was a small list of markdowns like this I think and then they had the big list in late June.

Wade Hixton is a dude with a mullet.

He's a character made up for the game. I think the attempt was to channel Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, since Counter-Punch is clearly another serving of Punch-Out.
 
Surprised it took so long for Enter the Matrix to drop to $8.96, I remember last year going at opening time to get Path of Neo for $10.
 
Hm. FFIV is close to $10 now. I'm now wondering if I should hold out or snatch it up now before it vanishes like all the other good clearanced games have.
 
Ugh...seems like everytime a thread like this gets posted, the stores around me do not carry the games and most of the time HAVE NOT carried them for years. My local Circuit City is a joke. They have damn near nothing on the shelf but the newest generation games.

That's why I hate the videogame industry. If I want Led Zeppelin IV or Casablanca, I can get it at any store. But when it comes to classic games we're outta luck. It disgusts me.
 
Am I the only one EXTREMELY disappointed that Oddworld: SW isn't backwards compatible? I haven't played it only for that reason (I'm out of digital audio inputs on my receiver, and just don't feel like hooking the ole black brick back up).

Don't be stupid and waste your Money on that 50 Cent game it's truely one of the worst ps2 games I've ever played. I've never seen controls works so bad in my life. Hell I bet Barbie Horse adventure is better then that game.
 
Everyone that is planning on getting Oddworld: SW, you may want to check your KMarts and Sears. It's only $4.99 there. Just make sure you get the one with the new barcode stickered over the old one, and the big $4.99 sticker on front. They're usually found in the cardboard displays in the game dept, NOT behind the glass.
 
Thanks for the update even if it's nothing to write home about.

Here's to hoping that Circuit City will also be doing a big yearly clearance also within the next monthish at $10 or less a game (with good stuff :)) along with the $17 monthly clearance & gradual (sp?) markdowns they've been doing every month this year.
 
Nabbed Wade Hixton's Counter Punch for $4.99! It was right where I left it after it caught my eye a few weeks ago (before I knew that it was actually a good game). I'm glad I organized their GBA games and stacked them all with the spines visible because they just covered it up by filling the bin above them and I all had to do was dig down to the stash I made weeks ago and read. :) About four employees were desperately searching for Starfox Assault for a customer when I started looking for Counter Punch and they had been at it for a while. I asked them to look for Wade Hixton's Counter Punch while they were at it before one finally gave me the opportunity to look in the correct bin. When I glanced down, I spotted two copies of Starfox Assault IMMEDIATELY when they had been there digging forever. I shouldn't have pointed it out because they stopped looking as soon as I did (in case they would have been able to help me find Counter Punch).
 
Terrible, unless you don't have Odworld, Stranger's Wrath. Possibly the biggest reason not to get rid of your XBox 1, since it isn't compatible on 360 - yet.
 
Thanks for updating the list. I have heard good things about Barnyard as kid's sandbox style game.

Not the best price for FORE! It's still $4 at KMart if you can find it.
