Most of these games have already been previously clearanced and have just dropped in price. There may be further additions during the month and, if so, I'll add those with an update notice. I won't be adding titles from previous lists but feel free to reference the April/May clearance thread that Derrick1979 started.

Well maybe it will fall in with the next clearance batch. I seen it pulled in a little basket along with the other games then I picked up the planner and it had the price listed as 16.96 so maybe it will happen shortly. I will try and go bye their later today and see if it has a date on it.

This is off-topic, but I didn't want to start a new thread for this question.

Is there a way to find out PC game prices without having to have someone at the store check the computer?

I was browsing the PC game section and there were quite a few games that I thought could be cheaper than the marked price. I'd feel like kind of a jerk making someone check a large stack of games when the chances are great I wouldn't be buying any of them anyway.

Thanks.

The PC section is a GOLDMINE of unmarked clearance items. If you've got the time, don't worry about the inconvenience to them. It's their fault for not putting in a self-check scanner.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'll have to stop in and have them check a few of the games I'm most interested in.

It's funny, some of them have been sitting on the shelf so long that the prices are about worn off. You have to strain to see the $39.99. The trouble is, even if it turns out they are $19.99 instead of the $39.99 they are marked, it's still not cheap enough for me. This site has turned me into such a cheapass.

Picked up Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin at 16.xx last night.

Oddly enough they had a truckload of Guilty Gear NDS copies there, and even odder was the fact that they were priced at $19.99, rather than the clearance price of $9 from the last big clearance. Ticked me right off.

I picked up the last copy of God Hand at my CC for $16.xx
Too bad the 25% off didn't work but it was the last copy and I've been wanting to try it despite the terrible reviews it got.

Went tonight just cause I was passing by In Sterling Heights MI..Plently of Guilty Gear PSP..I picked up COmmandos XBOX 4.96 and Resident Evil DS for 16.96.
Anyway, the games I remember seeing were Eragon, Flushed Away, and that Uno game (not Uno 52, but that other one), though there were a couple of others as well.
The DS Uno/Skip-Bo/Freefall is showing up on the website as $16.96, so I guess it should be on clearance everywhere.
despite the terrible reviews it got.
This has probably been covered already, but don't trust reviews. IGN (I think?) gave it a 3/10 because they sucked at it. Don't worry, it is freakin' awesome.

Do old clearance price still stand?

I saw a copy of Xenosaga III at my CC but it wasn't in the $16.xx clearance bins, it was on the shelf with all the other PS2 games and marked as regular price.

that was a great find and I do believe that the price should reflect clearance if anything have some dope walking around there scan it for you...

Alright, hopefully it's true... I wonder if they have any copies of Grandia III since I need that game as well.

get it for the price it's a great find..

Out off all the RPG's they dumped on clearance over the months the only ones I was able to find at mine were..

Disgaea 2
Tales of LEgendia
Suikoden Tactics..

Other than that I may have looked over them but for the most part my local one has been cleaned out...

I had Just Cause in my hand, and thought...

Is this game worth $16.96?

Then I put it back.

I can't see myself paying $17.00 for Just cause, am I wrong?

I got about 85 of the more popular well-known PC games for under $100 LAST SUMMER and I'm still finding most of those at Circuit City stores I visit. The prices are even better now. Of course, I was abusing the BOGO they had on games under $19.99, but nearly everything was under $4 (other than that, I paid $8.96 for HL2 and $18.96 for HL2:CE). Some of those were worth it for the case alone! $0.47 for Deus Ex Invisible War and the NexPak AlphaPack 3-disc case? I'll take it!

Picked up Valkyrie Profile for PSP $16.96 yesterday. Still up from $10 a few months ago but still felt good about finally finding it for less than $30

dag you guys must have the best CCs around. Here in the SF area I never see anything under MSRP at CC.

Advent Rising for the XBOX is still $49.99 there, like 8 copies sitting on the shelf from 3 years ago

Advent Rising for the Xbox will now ring up at $16.96. Just dropped a few days ago.

Not all CC's mark price drops on the price tags. You should have an employee scan the item and see what it shows up as.

Congrats on the great haul. I remember getting a couple of games from that BOGO sale, but I didn't even think about doing price checks then.

I went back yesterday and had them check about 7 games. Every one was cheaper than the marked price. They were still too expensive ($15+), though. With the proverbial backlog of games to play, I just couldn't bring myself to spend the cash.

ill give it another shot. last time i had my girlfriend do the scan thing, scanned 10 items, all were priced as marked.

you have no idea HOW SUCKY the CC is here :( its like the ultimate suckage of never having any rare items in stock, never having anything good in stock, and NEVER having anything good on clearance

Has this been confirmed that Just Cause for the 360 is now $16.96?

MY Cc has a ton of those SPace channel 5 games for $2.96 is it worth picking up? what kind of game is it, what do you do? I anything pick up some and use as trade fodder but I dont even know if anyone would want those..

It's a rhythm based dance game. It actually include Space Channel 5 and its previously Japanese only sequel. It's a pretty good value at 2.96 and they're fun games. Not to mention it has a shitload of quirky style.

Thanks for the feed on the game I may pick it up now with another one for trade possibly
Anybody finding games listed as $8.96?
Tiger Woods for the DS was $8.96 the last time I went, but that's probably from a really old clearance since that game came out like three years ago. The only other games I saw for that much were Mario Tennis (listed in the OP) and Tak 3 for the DS, again probably from an older clearance.

Picked up Just Cause for 16.96, and it wasn't yet marked at my CC, so make sure to have them ring it up!
I picked up the last copy of monter hunter for psp for 16.96.... I thought it had a 25% off
That was weeks ago when CC had a sale on cool deal stickered games, the clearance games were also getting the 25% off
That was weeks ago when CC had a sale on cool deal stickered games, the clearance games were also getting the 25% off
That was on the saturday before the cool deals run ended so I wonder if tomorrow the same thing will happen.. It's a great un-advertised way of getting people to come in and buy more of the clearance stuff... I know after the games I bought rang up 25% off I drove to another CC just to see what they had in the bins to snag up on the deal...

Sometimes "word of mouth" advertising can be the best thing...
That was on the saturday before the cool deals run ended so I wonder if tomorrow the same thing will happen..
That glitch was only on the Saturday before the Cool Deals sale ended? At all the CCs here, it ran for the entire week of the sale. I remember that I even got my pricematch mid-week on my clearance games.

I'm thinking that CC caught the glitch and from now on, only Cool Deals, no clearance stuff, gets the 25% off.

Do the discounts actually work now for the Cool Deals games now? Last I heard they were still ringing up at the regular price, and people had to get them to manually adjust the price.

yes might go get Just Cause but have to see how the funds go. I hope for a big sale on July 4th. Do we have any CC employees to give us the inside scoop. I need some Trade In Credit at Fye for the big 360 games coming out in the next few months.
Here's to hoping that Circuit City will also be doing a big yearly clearance also within the next monthish at $10 or less a game (with good stuff :)) along with the $17 monthly clearance & gradual (sp?) markdowns they've been doing every month this year.
We'll probably find out soon. It was around June 15th of last year when all those PS2 games got marked down to $8.96, which was soon followed by the DS games, GBA games, and so on.

Today I saw a newly stack of PS2 clearence games neatly displayed and tagged correctly. These are some of the ones I can remember.

PS2- Oni $1.99
PS2- Project Eden $1.99
PS2- Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 $1.99
PS2- Mortal Kombat (can't remember which one) - $3.96

I wonder if these are to be part of the July 4th sale, or some old stock they found and have marked down to go.

I can't remember if they had UPC's over them, but the $1.99 was hand written on one of those white security stickers over the original price. Here's hoping they do a $1.99 sale this year like Best Buy did a few months back. I just hope the July 4th sales don't get broadcast everywhere like the Best Buy sale was, as it was cleaned out before I even got there.
I recall when I very much wnated Oni for being one of the first combo fighter/shooters. I'd snag it at $2.
I was surprised at how bad the PS2 version was compared to the Mac version that I had played originally (and it wasn't great). IIRC the controls were terrible. Of course, for $2...
