Ohhh...I hope Mercenaries get's a universal price drop...I'd love to pick this up at gamestop.com for $20 with my $20 coupon for buying Phantom Dust during that promo...
 
just a heads up, everytime CC runs one of these two for 30 deals, ive always been able to get any two 19.99 games for 30 bucks. I think they just make their system see 19.99 games as GH/PH/PC hits.

Mercenaries has been out for 2 months and sold realy well. I don't think it will be drop this year.

Basically every PS2 and Xbox game drops rather quickly, with a few exceptions. MGS3 sold very well, and it's getting a price drop. I'd expect a drop by summer, even sooner if Mercenaries 2 is announced.

While some store like BB or Target might decide to drop $10-20, it would take longer for a place like gamestop to follow after an offical price drop. Look at other Pandemic game like SW Battlefront, that game is out since last Sept and most place still sell it at full price. As for Mercenaries 2 I think Pandemic is working on Destory All Humans right but Lucas Art is known to rush out games so it is possible.

Edit: I think it took FSW about 10 months to srop to $20 so i guess there should be a drop around the same time.

anyone know when it'll officially go player's choice(and if any other games are going with it?)? I always have a problem getting player's choice games during these sales when they just drop, like when super mario sunshine and windwaker dropped the only versions available were the non-GH versions so they didn't believe me.

that is good because some new games(ESPN sports, for example) come out at 20 bucks a pop.but if that is true, then i could get ESPN NCAA 2K5 and, say Gauntlet Legends or some other $20 game that just came out for $30? that now sounds a little bit funny, especially if they are new games. but maybe that is true.

Pokemon Col. has been used at ebgames.com for 17.99 for at least a couple days.

i saw it at gamestop(in store) for around $15-20 a few weeks after christmas. the only reason i remember that is because they were having the buy 2 used get 1 free and it was one of the 5 GC games they had left.

that just reminded me of another deal, I'm going to my local Movie Gallery right down the block, which would take me approximately 30 seconds to walk to, and purchase a used Ninja Gaiden, Splinter Cell: PT, both for $20 each, and get two other games in their buy 2 get 2 deal. :)

Used games, but sometimes they don't look like they've been rented before.. depends how much of a collector you are or not. I'm buying it for entertainment value.

No, it probably will see a price drop this year. It's sold relatively well so it might go GH/PH. Games also tend to drop pretty fast. Probably by early to late summer we'll see a price drop.

Yea it's sort of an official price drop around for Gamestop, Target, and Walmart. I remember today I got Pokemon Collseum for $12.51 at CC for a price match with Walmart (which was a big YMMV I think).

Pokemon Colleseum is a universal drop... it's a Player's Choice now.
