It's quite amazing to me how some of you can get 3 copies of VP: Lenneth and I can't find one :p

Seeing the above post about Sword of Mana made me think that maybe I saw a copy of that at my CC. I'm going back there today so I may check it out...

Went to 2 CCs this week, both appeared to be entirely cleaned out of anything that would be remotely of interest. Not a single RPG or 360 clearance game on the shelf or in the bins. Shame, they had some stuff earlier in the week I may have grabbed knowing this promo was on.

Not a bad haul and couldn't beat the price... too bad I couldn't find any copies of Xenosaga III though... Oh well :lol:
 
Hit a couple CC's in my area today and had a pretty nice haul. Saw another guy at the Elk Grove store pulling a bunch of clearance games off the shelf which weren't marked so I'm guessing he's either a CAGer or lurker. The good thing though was it looked like he was only grabbing one of each, so no hording. Still no sign of a Monster Hunter Freedom anywhere though. :(

I finally got a copy of Yoshi's Island for cheap and Metal Gear Acid was stickered at $16.96 I was thinking it was going to be $12.72! Thanks everyone who posted. :)

I also saw a couple copies of Wario Ware for GCN, but passed since I already have it for the GBA and for tomorrow there was like 4+ copies of Namco Museum for the GBA for those who are in the area.

i went today after I got off of work at 6 and scored the following:

valkyrie profile: lenneth- $12.72 (last copy there)
phoenix wright- $12.72 (last copy there/ got this for my GF since I got my copy about a month ago from CC for $16.96)
xenosaga III- $12.72 (had 2 copies of this there)
soul calibur III- $12.72 (last copy there)
suikoden tactics- $7.49 (they had about 6 copies of this)
space channel 5- $2.22 (they had about 7 copies of this)

i also saw tales of legendia, mga2, mlb 2k6 for PSP, alien hominid, pokemon trozei, and about 10 copies each of alien hominid, gun, and true crime: nyc

i will prob. go back up there and pick up ToL and alien hominid b/c I fucking forgot to pick them up while I was there tonight

still all in all a good haul for a grand total of $64.21 lol which is a little over the price of one 360 or PS3 game lol
 
I'm looking for, still, Xenosage III, Drakengard II, Tales of Lengdia and Yoshi's Island.
I picked up an extra GTA Trilogy, Harvest Moon Magical Melody, Metal Gear Acid 2 and The Godfather LE for PS2 (Is this even desirable anymore? I remember everyone on CAG freaking over it and wanting it. It seems to go for the same amount I paid on Ebay)
Let me know if you have an interest in these titles-- especially if you have any of what I'm looking for. Thanks.
 
Good finds for those of you that scored! I haven't even seen most of these games at any CC in months, so I'm surprised so many people are still finding VP: Lenneth and other good PSP games.

I only managed Lumines +Plus+ for $13 and Scurge Hive (DS) for $10.

If anyone has extra Monster Hunter Freedom or Guilty Gear Judgment, let me know. I've missed out on every Monster Hunter clearance to date!
 
Man... can't help but wonder, is there a lack of CAG's in Birmingham AL? I went to the Riverchase CC tonight, and picked up a few things. The only things that had been snagged were the 360 titles. Ended up getting Valkyrie Profile Lenneth, Lumines+, GTA Trilogy, Drakengard II, Space Channel 5, and a Smacktalk. Of course they didn't have Guitar Hero II though.. but still, a decent haul. I put quite a few games back as I couldn't justify the purchase.

Now, to find some Joe Pesci clips for the Smacktalk....

I snagged Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth for $16.96 at the CC in Cary, NC. I believe I counted two copies remaining on the shelf with the PSP games. Just don't let the $39.99 price sticker and that plastic case it's in fool you. :D

Oh, and for anyone looking for Monster Hunter Freedom, there was one lone copy in the clearance box. I would have bought it, but I'm pretty much broke now. :/

Condemened and Bomerman did not come up at $12.xx, but regular price.

I also noticed GTA Triple pack went up from 12 to 16 but still a steal. Are there any true 360 games under $16.xx?

The games that were 12.xx were because of the Cool Deals 25% off in last week's sale. So to answer your question, no.

I did, actually - at two locations.

The first, where I found two, was down on Brodie, near William Cannon.

I left three there.

The second location was on Mopac - the new store. I bought one there.

I left two at that location.

So, I didn't take them all. Hopefully, you were able to get one. :)

Funny thing about this one CC - I swear it's like nobody goes there.

I went there on Friday (which at that point in the week, these should have ALL been long gone), but it's like no one looks at this store.

I usually find my best CC stuff there.

Just got lucky. I left plenty of stuff there though - was probably there on Sat & Sun too!

I purchased a copy of valkyrie profile: lenneth today for $16.96. I guess the price reductions are not universal among all CCs yet. This CC had an their older style cash register system, so maybe that makes a difference.

Hopefully I can get a price adjustment later.

That is the correct price. People in prior posts were refering to the prices after the 25% off sale that was going on last week(ended saturday at close of business). All the $16.96 games(ie. VP Lenneth) were 12.72 + tax last week.

Well, I wonder if CC will take the Best Buy Gamepro Coupon or the Best Buy $5 off one Sony sent me for registering my PSP.

Edit: Anyone ever take the time to go through the entire DS rack? I need to do that one day--problem is that the prices aren't updated so I don't know what is clearance and what isn't.

BB coupons are YMMV. Some people have reported success while alot of us have recently been rejected.
