Well, I was around for the first CC reductin and almost crapped my pantss when I saw some of the games on the new list. The first CC sweep yielded my some decent, but not so great games. But this time around I made out like a bandit.


Last night I saw the list and I knew that I had to run down to the CC in Hialeah, FL. Unfortunately it was past 9 so I had to wait until this morning. I wokle up at about 10:50 a.m. and raced down to the CC. I get there and quickly go and look for the Disgaeas, I pick up all three copies. About an hour into my scavanging some dude came in also with a list. I proceed to ask him where he got it and he said something like "game bits"...

He was looking for a Disgaea so I gave him one of the three that I had. After about an hour there I finally go to the cashier and she starts ringing me up and she starts to freak when she sees that all the games are rining up at $5.00, she was like "huh?" , I tell her that it is a sale that they are having, she dosent question it.


I get home and I know that I might have missed a few things so I got back to the CC near my house and BAM, there are like 20 people in the games aisles, all with lists in their hands, but none were members of CAG - appararent ly this list is all over the internet.

Long story short - I came out with 22 games total

They had no MVC2, Capcom Vs. SNK, GGX, GGX2 and some of the others I wanted, but I came out ok!

Oh BTW, I went over to gamestop which is just down the street and picked up some guides for my new games. Total $.07!
 
LOL .07 cents damn. I live in orlando FL and i really wanted disgaea but it was a no go. I swear some of the employees must be hoarding some games cuz when i checked out they seemed like it was no surprise to them.
 
alright, let me get this straight....

that list of games thats on the forum are all actually 4.99 even though the price tags don't say so, there are no signs or "4.99 bins" anywhere, and the employees don't even know about it???

cuz i've been to circuity city twice in the last two days, the second time i even asked one of the employees about it, and he said he had no idea what i was talking about.

or is this just another one of those YMMV things?
 
The employees know nothing about it untill they start ringing stuff up themselves. Most the the casiers are probably kids on summer jobs so they wouldnt be privy to the news really. I know the guy that rang my stuff up had no clue.

Exactly which .hack did you get for 4.99?
 
THERE YOU ARE! I never see you post in here. I'm the employee w/ glasses u gave the list to. Damn it, I should have taken Disgaea when you offered it......oh well. I ended up getting ESPN NHL, Spyhunter 2, and Pride FC. I apparently found out today that we are supposed to have a $5 sale next week with the games to be sold the same ones as on the list.......oh well. I'm gonna try to hit up the CC in Pembroke Pines in a few days (alot of rich people live there, so very few CAGs gonna go there to hunt). Maybe I'll find that Marvel v Capcom 2 I've been longing for.....
 
Cisco? Right? Hey man... Good Fetch today, Ill be seeing you tomorrow. Hwy, that haitian dood with the gelled back hair rang me up and forgot to ring a game up without me knowing. Then when i got to the front, the big security guard told me I didnt pay for one and I paid for it.


Then another cashier asked me for my information and I gave it to him, even though I paid with cash and they kept one of the recipts????


What's the deal??!?!?
 
Oh, BTW did they let you get that MK:DA for $.01? Hey man, remember to keep a look out for me. Also, did they bring this up to you guys when the store was closed? What did the managers say?
 
One guy walked out with 46 games (he bought them)...he is the reason I only got four games...And the employees were getting games and putting them up so they could buy them later...so there was almost no selection...really pisses me off when people do that...But I got: Lunar Legends, Panzer, Capcom vs SNK, and Crimson Sea...so im happy
 
I know it's pretty absurd...everytime a deal this big goes down I get jack because 95% of the people out there are way too greedy and I have a life outside CAG to live (well sometimes).
 
No, I sold the MK copy to Peter for 2 bucks, since I had already beaten the game a long time ago. BTW, I just headed over to the CC in Pines and that place has been SWEPT. Now I don't know if all the games got sold, or if simply the employees hid them for next week's sale. Man, I'm still regretting the whole DIsgaea thing. Oh well. We'll see if they change anything next week. BTW, I start at 7 today (Monday). If you go after then, I'll see you.
