looks liket LoTR:ROTK is gonna be bought at target! $1 cheaper and free popcorn, and possibly free batteries. Oh ya, thanks for the post. Oh ya Soul Calibur II at CC for $15 after the GGC match!

Is the Matrix game worth $15? Heard some pretty bad things about it, but I'm still curious about it, especially since in runs in 1080i.

i personally loved enter the matrix...bump all the noises you heard...i heard a lot of bad things too, but it was great to me....i even played it twice through as both characters

Enter the matrix wasnt as completely shitty as it was said to be, BUT with the amount of time and money they had to make you start to wonder how many circle jerks they did in-between making the sentinel shooting level where you literaly leave the crosshairs in the middle of the screen and hold down the button to win.

any who, Mario and Donky Kong for 19.99 after GGC at BB is my pick for the week

PGR2 for $20 after GGC, I might pick this up.

Was this one on sale for $20 somewhere a few weeks ago? I remember going to Best Buy with somebody's ad to PM this a while back, but they were OOS. Can't remember who's ad or the price it was at in the ad. (Might have been at $25 at CC or something?)

I think I am going to wait until August to buy the Extended Edition of RotK... Mario v. Donkey Kong for $20 at BB is pretty sweet though...

"Underworld (collectors edtion?)"

This is the directors cut of Underworld, 12 minutes of extra footage plus a few other new features. DVDFile.com has a review up if any one is interested.

Leave it to BigNick to buy the dvd where they give you food with it. Just wait until Microsoft launches Halo 2 with the free taco at Taco Bell coupon.

Does anyone ever have luck price matching and using the GGC? THUG for $20 or Mario & Luigi for $20 would be sweet. If so what is the best way to go about it?

ive tried twice and had luck both times...just make sure you look for someone who looks like they just dont give a tuck

Possible buys this weekend:

Enter the Matrix - $14.99
Halo - $24.99
007 Everything or Nothing - $34.99
Manhunt - $34.99

GGC makes those BB deals look so much better!

Thanks, TC!
Looks like I'm grabbing Soul Calibur II for Xbox at CC, thanks for the info.
i could've swore i saw soul calibur II at bb for 19.99 as well...i think its an all around price drop....so pick it up for 14.99 after the ggc

How did you do it? Bring the ad, get the price match, use GGC all at the same time? Or did you buy the game with the GGC and price match later?
gave her the game and the ad...she called cc to verify they had it....they did...she rang me up...while she was ringing...i gave her the ggc...
Ok cool...I'll have to give it a shot.

"...just make sure you look for someone who looks like they just dont give a tuck"

So true. For deals that keep on giving, gotta love low paid retail employees.

These sales suck. Especially the DVD ones.
Someone is in a good mood today. :D
must be allergic to popcorn and in full stock of batteries for his vibrator

I've done the same thing a couple times with no problems.

Buy it, it was worth it.

Its kind of hit and miss (the sewer level drove me nuts, it was too dark to see anything) but when it was good, it was real good...

I can confirm that Soul Caliber 2 is 19.99 at CC right now. I went today during lunch and it was 19.99, they matched the BB GGC so I got it for 14.99. :)

It's too bad the Return of the King game is $35 at BB when it's only $25 at CC. With my local BBs, pricematching and using a GGC coupon is an either/or situation.
SMA4 for $20 after GGC.. that's really great. Are you guys sure they price match coupons?
its definitely ymmv....ive never found a store that price matchs coupons

Wow.. These sales are HOT imo.. Game Shark for the xbox.. Is that any good? Although it is just game saves.. Anything close to invincibility or $5^& like that?

How about Splinter Cell PT? Is that worth 35? I disliked the original.. But its a good price and it comes with free xbl..

Or Super Mario Adv 3?

Im also thinking of getting SCII for gcn or xbox.

Any of you guys have SCII for both GCN and Xbox? If so, any opinion on which version to get? I'm partial to the Xbox controller (at least in this instance), but can adapt for the GC controls if it's clearly the better version. Gamerankings.com has both version ranked virtually neck and neck, so I'm just looking to know what you guys think.

Also, anyone know what's the story with the LotR trilogy set? Does this set have the final, complete, extended footage version of all three movies? I do not want to buy this, then find out at Christmas that some newer, more complete, version is going to be released.

The triliogy set that is coming out tues includes the 3 theatrical versions of the films. The return of the King extended edition will come out around november, so if you want a box set of all 3 extended editions, wait then. Although I'm not quite sure if they're releasing a box set of the EEs, but even if they don't, you can buy all 3 EEs seperately.

GCN
Shrek 2 - $49.99
$25.88 Each - Tony Hawks Thug or True Crime

I'm confused, True Crime is $19.99 on Target's webite...OOS though.
Do they pricematch their site? Or will other stores pricematch it?
http://www.target.com/gp/detail.htm...293758-1008108?_encoding=UTF8&asin=B00008G8IA

Anyways, unless Target does a temporary price cut on THUG or TC, I see 50% off rainchecks as a possiblilty this week.
Circuit City price matches most major stores.. And since target is one of them.. Get it from CC for 20.. I would but im not sure if I want it on the gcn..

Depends on who you would rather play as, Link or Spawn, if you only like Link marginally better I would get the XBox version as the graphics are a little bit better and the controller is more suited for fighting games. But if you're like me and like the thought of playing as Link a whole lot then get the GC version.

Playing as Link in the GC version is a lot of fun, but my friend said Spawn is pretty good too. Pretty much whichever controller you favor...

Free Brute Force game with purchase of Xbox System - $149.99
