Sweet, I'll be getting some of the Friends seasons, and after the rebates you get from buying multiple seasons, they'll be 9.99 each.
 
Call me jaded, but I don't consider CDs for $9.77 to be "major" - no offense. I guess it is a decent deal if you need to own the physical CD (rather than iTunes, eMusic, etc.), though.

You might not see it as major but to the Average Joe it IS. Trust me, I've worked more than my fair share of these sales. I know I'll be buying a few CDs thanks to this sale as well since the ones I'm grabbing are normally never on sale anyways. :D
 
Oh my God, I am so getting that Riddick Trilogy. 3 movies for $13, and special packaging? I can't ask for more.
 
The Riddick Trilogy has Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick and The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury.

THe first 2 are live action while the last one is listed is animated.

I doubt it.. they already did a theater cut, and later released an unrated version.

Except that's different. The British ones were only aired on BBC America (which basically no one has), and therefore harder to find, not to mention the fact that British TV has no commercials, meaning each episode is about 8 minutes longer. 8 x 6 = 48 minutes longer. I think the price for the British is justified, but I agree that the American is overpriced (but it's probably worth it, it's pretty funny).

I can't find myself getting excited, as I highly doubt my CC has any copies since they didn't have any the last time it was cheap.

The $9.77 sale is only on titles that are normally $9.99-$13.99 which means "Stadium Arcadium" is not qualified as its normal price is $18.99.

For people who don't want to wait on the $9.99 DVD sale, Best Buy is having a 2 for 20 this week which has alot of the same movies featured in CC's $9.99 sale.

I just got Serenity and Cry Wolf tonight, my CC didn't even have Serenity in stock :roll:

Is anyone buying any of the $9.99 movies to PM them on Sunday?

I did it for the games, didn't do it for the movies, and I'll probably go in tommorrow night to buy the movies I want... I don't want to search through the giant blue bin they just throw all the movies into, so I figure I might as well buy them in advance.

Yup, bought Serenity and plan on adjusting the price on Sunday when they open along with the 3 games I bought. I wanted to pick up a cd as well but I wasn't sure if they were gonna adjust it because the sale was for cds within a certain price range and not an individual cd.
 
At most CCs near me the movies are so unorganized I find it easier to go in the bins if you get there fairly early since they all start organized. Obviously later in the week that is frequently not the case...
