Good question. I'd say go in person, then they will prob refund the difference. If you call, expect to get some BS over the phone.
 
If there were any rebates with the price you got on Monday, there could be problems with them if you PM. Since this is after rebate price this may be very YMMV. The best why would be a return and re-buy unless you got the protection plan (which would be lost if done).

Its still got a chance of everything working out but I would check the rebates if you had any.
 
I had a $30 MIB rebate that I have not send it yet. I'm going to go to a couple stores today and get some DVD+Rs, including Citcuit City, I'll let you know if I do anything.
 
If you've opened the laptop already, DO NOT RETURN IT. Any money that you're trying to save will go down the drain with the 15% restocking fee, regardless if you're buying it back. Unless you get a understanding rep. Which isn't a risk I'd be willing to chance.

On the rebate thing, they most likely won't give you the new rebate. Since you already got it cheaper than their before rebate price and you bought it before the current rebate, I don't see them PMing it to the lower price unless you're lucky. Good luck tho.
