Circuitcity.com - Pre-order Rock Band 2 PS3 (game only) for $49.99

All circuit citys honor what there website says the price of something is. I bought a camera and it was on sale on the website only and I went in and showed receipt and they looked it up and gave me the difference back!

Good point.

Though with the release 2 months away they have plenty of time to correct a mistake, and if they don't honor the purchase I'm happy to cancel and pick it up for the +$10 that all B&M store will sell it for on release day. I won't be buying it from CC B&M though, that's for sure. ;) Every other retailer has the price locked in at the usual 59.99 even taking into account he above caveat.

If they honor the price (I don't know CC history with such things) it's roughly equivalent to ~10% discount after TAX.

I got a TV for $800 using the website price matching. As long as it doesn't say web only you are good to go. Not sure what their policy is on pre orders though.

This is game only. Great deal for those who have the peripherals from Rock Band 1 already and don't want (or can't afford) to get the new ones.

The thread title has been changed to reflect this. Thanks.

Seeing as the Rock Band set only has one guitar, I wonder if they will have a RB2 package that is just the game and a second guitar...

That would be the only thing keeping me from jumping on this.

I would be surprised to see something like that Morphiend. It would be very clever of some e-tailer to put together a special package like that. But given the fact that it's a "band" game and not a "guitar" game I would be very surprised to see Harmonix/EA package it in such a way. Still...you never know. ;)
