Does anyone know why Best Buy would put such a sign on this game? I forgot to ask because I was damned curious. A big sign was put right on the game boxes: "Please Speak to a Media Representative before purchasing this game!"

Any idea why, or is anyone else's Best Buy doing this?
To inform people about monthly fees?
Yea but the sign is not on any of the other games, such as World of Warcraft, or Everquest 2.

Edit: Likewise, the game isn't on any other expansion packs, nor have I ever seen this sign up before.

Was just wondering if there was some kind of hidden secret or something to the game that I didn't know.

Servers for the game don't go up until on Monday... probably to tell them that so they don't come back right away saying it doesn't work. They could also be giving the preorder bonus to them so they can get the 2 day access before people that purchase it without that item. Who knows, but I am pretty sure the servers aren't up until Monday.

Mystery solved!
Why would they sell the game without the servers being up though?
For the same reason that there will be a few 360 games before the launch of the 360, to make more money!!

Well, they have the servers up, just not publically. If you preordered the game, you were given a 2 day head start on the game, so you get to play before everyone that didn't preorder it. Kind of cool IMHO. Its a nice bonus for putting money down on a game that others didn't. I just wish it worked that way with console games as well :bomb:

Yup my manger sold like 200 + dollars of COV to some lady, then she came back two hours later demanding her money back since it hasn't offically laucnhed. We laughed ... alot.
