I recently got a GameTap subscription and I'm loving it.
I never got into the Civilization games before and would like to start, because they look like a lot of fun and something I'd definitely be interested in. On GameTap they have Civilization III Gold and Civilization IV, and I don't know which to start with/play. Graphics don't really matter to me, but obviously I'd prefer a better looking game.
I was planning on starting out with Civ 4, but then I started thinking about whether I should play Civ 3 first. Just wanted to get some CAG's opinions on this. Thanks.
