Civlization /Sim City type of game

My brother who only has a gamecube loves the Simulation types of games. Does anyone know of any Civilization/ Sim City type of game that is out for the gamecube? I have gone though the last years worth of N-Power looking for something and I am drawing a blank.

Anyone got any great ideas?

Sorry, but I love them too and can't think of any for the Gamecube, and I can only think of one for any of this gens games and that would be Roller Coaster Tycoon for the Xbox.

Don't think there are any for the GC, better just buy some for the computer.

Yeah, I'd recomend going the PC route for those, they play a lot better on the PC too
 
They really are much better on the PC. Civilization II Multiplayer Gold Edition is the last word on that. If you must have something for GameCube like that, I guess the closest would be Doshin the Giant, but you would have to import it. It is in English if you can get a UK copy, but you also need something to make it play on your US Cube.

That is nothing like Civilization/ Sim City type, its more like Sims than anything, but even that is pushing it.
 
For some reason Pikmin comes to mind. Not a traditional simcity type game, but there's some strategy involved. Uhm, I know this is the GC forum, but if he has a PS2 or Xbox also, there's also Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis (I think that's what it's called) where you run the park kind of like Zoo Tycoon.
