There was something on my TV today that I wanted to get off...not sure what it was, seemed like dust, but who knows... either way, I didn't have any "LCD cleaning" stuff lying around so I did some quick (30 minutes) research on what I could use around the house to clean my LCD. I used distilled water to dilute isopropyl alcohol, as many sites recommended. It was diluted to about 25% alcohol, but after i used the microfiber cloth to clean it, it appears that there are streaks.
It's invisible when I have the screen on, but It's something that would bother me. Did I just ruin my screen? What should I really use? I'm just pissed that a ton of people said for a streak-free clean use isopropyl and water, and all it did was streak the screen.
Edit: My Manual has no information on cleaning, and yes, it's from a major TV manufacturer.
