@ MasaTFC if no note is given then the battery does in fact work. The only exception was Silver since I replaced the original battery in it.

Yep it saves and holds the save but clock events will not work. Replacing the battery may fix it but I am currently out of the type that the GBA games took.

The original battery in Pokemon Silver was DOA so I replaced it once I found out.
