Gonna play Bioshock and Persona this weekend. Hopefully the girlfriend will be okay with me doing that.

I hope to get further in bioshock. I really want to finish one of my games this weekend, so I have a feeling of accomplishment before class starts on monday.

I almost bought a new video card to play Bioshock...but then I realized I'd be paying ~$200 to play it. I know it's good, but it can't be THAT good :p

I'm crazy busy today, working on Senior Design.

Anyway, I played both Keats and Ellen on the Folklore demo. I absolutely love the game and want it now. I plan to play some PSP and 360 later tonight.

I'm at Fort Frolic in Bioshock, just got the crossbow. anyone know about how much longer I have until the end?

unfortunately, no video games tonight. I had to close at work and I'm just now able to sit down and eat some dinner. I'm probably going to shower and go to bed, because I have to be at my bosses house at 9 am to help him with his lawn work.

I just finished playing Earth Defense Force (xbox360) on Hardest. Some of the levels were a PITA to get through! I'm playing through the game again on Insane (or Inferno, I don't remember the name) and I've been stuck on level 15 for over an hour!

Okay, I did the right thing and finally picked up Persona 3. I guess I kinda lost interest in getting the game since it took so damn long for the thing to come out after that delay... well anyway, I'll try it tonight, I suppose.

Beat Bioshock yesterday.
Now I'm playing Space Giraffe. If you have a 360, you need to have this game.
It's by far the best arcade game out there.
that's assuring. I'm considering picking the game up soon.
I dont know for me it's kind of im really into it then I get bored... There are similar elements to this game and the older ones but it tends to get repetitious at times...

I dont know maybe I set the bar to high for this one seeing the multiple delays and the gap between this one and part 2

Playing God of war 2 , and mario strikers.(getting my butt kicked)after that maybe the 3rd shadow hearts game?

Something about the characters, the controls, and the battles, combined with the music makes Persona 3 so compelling. I think it's just the fluid and rapid way the characters move around the halls of tartarus, and how fast paced the battles are. It takes all the chore out of dungeon crawling, and doesn't let you stay there very long.

I also blame much of the addictiveness on the VERY clever decision to place your daily chance to save right in between the school day and dark hour. Every time I say I'm done at the next save point, I realize I'd be quitting right before a chance to explore Tartarus, and get sucked back in. Genius.

Finished chapter 4 in Riviera.

Looks like I'll have a good weekend for gaming for the first time in a while, think I'll boot up Skies of Arcadia Legends in the morning.

well I recently happened upon a copy of persona 1 for $15, so I picked it up and now I'm trying to salvage a copy of persona 2 before I dive head first into persona 3.

edit: I'm also trying to find a copy of hoshigami. damn, I'm such a sucker for atlus rpgs.
about 12 hours into FFX, great game
I just recently finished that for the second time. I think that's the best FF Battle System yet. The end does get absurdly difficult, though.

played way too many hours of bioshock today. guess I'll finish tomorrow sometime.

Then on to Persona 3, FFVI Advance, interspersed with Planet Puzzle League (so fucking addictive) and Space Giraffe.

I finally got all the endings in Growlanser II today. I was going to start Growlanser III, but I think I'm all Growlanser-ed out for now. Back to Persona 3 and maybe an old PS2 RPG I've yet to finish, like Shadow Hearts: FtNW.

I'm gonna limit myself to one game purchase next week (two, if I get some credit): Either Stranglehold or Blue Dragon. :whistle2:k

ya thats what i have heard. I really like the leveling system too.

Yeah, I love me some FFX. Played FFX International back in May to see how it sounded on my sound setup I'd gotten, and I ended up putting like 28 hours into the game in a week. Despite the fact I'd already played through FFX back in 2001, the game is still so damn fun to play through.

I was hoping that Blue Dragon would be on that level of awesomeness, but after playing the demo, I'm not so sure I'll even buy it...

Been playing Bioshock, Madden and finishing up the Bigs. Not having Live at my apartment yet SUCKS.

It seems like setting it up here is gonna be a HUGE pain in the ass. I'll probably try later tonight to set-it up and if that doesn't work create a thread for it. At this point I simply can't go without Live. It's to good.

After having some lengthy downloads, I forced myself to play it and like it more now. Not one of my favorites, but good. I'm not a big fan of fighting 6 enemies though.

I had a lot of problems getting my consoles online, but eventually did (in my new apartment). What sucks though is that I want to play in the evening (that's when most are on), but my internet is the slowest at the time. In the morning, my internet is extremely fast. That's why I'm debating about just getting another internet, even if I have to pay $40 a month. :(

Traded in a ton of stuff and picked up Bioshock Thursday; haven't had a chance to play it yet because of girlfriend/work/school, but I should be able to give it a spin tonight.

I don't think I should have to force myself to enjoy a game. If I have to do that, then it's not good. I'll give the demo another try, maybe read the reviews, but I'm most likely passing on it simply because there's so many excellent RPGs that it's pointless to bother with one that's just pretty good.

I want the 15 minutes I put in to the Blue Dragon demo back.

the skills, spells, items, and all that seemed very interesting. hell, maybe there's a good skill system behind it all. but the style, story, voice acting and script (and no, changing it to japanese does not make it okay), and battles killed it for me.

woot! finally got sum gaming in yesterday!

Suikoden II!! I think I am close to the end becoz
the big sister got arrowed like teen girl squad

maybe I can finish it over next 3 days weekend! whooo~!! one game closer to Persona 3!!

I also got my first paycheck reflecting my new raise yesterday, it's enough to fully pay out my credit card debt!!

should I hold onto the cash, pay off my credit card, or buy an xbox 360 that I dont have the time to play??

hmmmm....???

pay it off and buy the 360 later. I was considering getting myself a grand in to debt for a gaming PC, but...nah. I'll try and squeeze a graphics card out of someone for Xmas, then get the rest over the next few months :)

played some more bioshock, which I haven't played in 3 days. I'm enjoying it quite well, but I find it to be the first game I actually get a little scared playing.
blue dragon was missing alot IMHO... mainly in the groin area.
Maybe it had a case of blue balls?

I would imagine not worrying about debt would feel 1000x better then passing your Xbox 360 everday and regretting that purchase.

Okay, so I'm one hour into Persona 3 and already I can tell that, yes, this is the game I've been wanting. There's really nothing I don't like about the game... the storyline seems like it'll be great, it's dark, the weird combination of school life and dungeon crawling is legit, the music could be some of Meguro's best, the voice acting is actually good, etc. I already know I'm going to love this game even though I'm just in introductory segment, and I'm already hoping that Atlus brings over Fes... because I'm gonna want that.

My daughter moved with her mom about 10 hours away from where I live.

So I have a lot of gaming time to myself now.

:(

I'm going to tackle some Super Metroid tonight... probably beat it tonight then go at Metroid Prime tomorrow.
