I wasn't as hype on Hotel Dusk. It was definitely interesting and unique for an adventure game, though. But yeah that first part is pretty slow.

Ah, I'll wait until Lair goes Amazon DOTD...like $20 or less DOTD hehe.

Yeah once Lair hits DOTD for $20-30 I'm all in. Can't justify $60 though.

Its hard for me to justify rouge squadron with dragons. I think factor 5 need to come up with new ideas and not just re-skin the same damn game over and over again.

Just got to Elysia in Prime 3 and Arcadia in BioShock. Great games.

I'm kinda thinking about selling at least BioShock once I'm done. I'm not sure there's a whole lot of reason to keep it after I'm done as I see too many games coming out in the next 6-12 months for me to think that I'll have time to replay it. The same might be true of Metroid.

Thoughts?

Howbout playing it before assuming things, ok?

There are some similarities, yes, but not that many. The only similarities I can think of are that you're flying and shooting stuff, and the way you take down a warbeast is similar to the way you take down a AT-AT.

Just let him play Blue Dragon, since ya know it scored better then Lair. Instead of 4 it got... 4.1 GOTY!!!!

playing some mlb 07 on psp until I have to go into work, which I'm excited about since mondays are really slow, which means I'll get to play some more blue dragon today :D

Jeanne D'Arc is very addicting. I'm actually finding myself burnt out on Persona 3, so it's a nice break. I'd like to see a little more variety in Persona 3.

Also got Half-Life 2 running pretty well on the PC, that game is awesome. System Shock 2/Metroid Prime 3 by night as well.

just got home from work and it's going to be me and tiger for a few rounds of golf, then some psp before i go to sleep.

Forgot to mention that while I was waiting for GRAW2 multiplayer co-op with my co-workers last night, I played the Tiger 08 demo and the NHL 08 demo. Neither were very impressive. I liked Tiger better tho'.

Do I pick up Landstalker now, or play some more Super Metroid? Decisions, decisions.

I think I might get landstalker today. All the NeoGAF hype must mean something.

I just bought numerous games, like Jeanne D'Arc, DW Gundam (PS3), Warhawk, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD (PS3), Tekken 5 DR Online, Wild Arms 5, and Mega Man Star Force Leo. Still didn't get Blue Dragon or Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes yet, but I'm planning on it.

I've been playing Warhawk too much lately. I absolutely love the multi-player and I never get sick of it. The aerial battles are too awesome. Tekken 5 DR online is also a lot of fun, but I'm worse than I thought at Tekken. :( I've been playing Puzzle Fighter II HD and love it. I haven't really played Persona 3, but I did play Wild Arms 5. So far I'm liking it, although the battle theme isn't as good as the other ones. I'm not too happy to see the search feature back on the world map, but oh well.

Today is my birthday and I definitely want to play stuff I love today.

Just started on Bioshock this weekend and I'm loving it, this has really raised the bar for FPS's and next-gen games in general.

Best game I've played this year, so far.

Playing Jeanne D'Arc and Persona 3. Im thinking of finishing metroid prime on the gamecube. I just keep sucking at it and keep dieing. Anyone want to help me out with this?

Dieing at a boss or just dying in general?

Dying in general im not sure what it is i really want to get into these games because of how awesome everyone tells me they are, but im just having problems navigating and not dying.

If it's just from normal enemies, when there is cover, use it.

Also if there is enough room strafe. A lot.

Not sure what else to tell you besides if you can run past without fighting then do so :p

Alright ill try that and report back tommrow on how I progressed.

I traded in a ton of games at EB on Saturday, and got $180 in credit. Got BioShock, Metroid Prime 3, some Wii component cables, and fully paid off Halo 3. I've been playing BioShock non-stop since then, and it continues to amaze. I just wish I had more time to play. :D

Happy birthday!

I'm buying a 360 in the next week or so, I'm really excited for that. All that penny pinching has finally paid off. :bouncy:

Gave in and started playing Prime 3. Enjoying it much more than the first game at this point in the game (only an hour in). I guess Skies of Arcadia will have to be put on hold again. I have until the middle of October to beat it, luckily, with no must-buy console games until Zack & Wiki.

School year started, so mainly I haven't spended that much time playing my PS2. I mainly play Guitar Hero 2 and RE4 on it from time to time.
Happy birthday!
Thanks a lot. :)

I played some Warhawk today and Super Puzzle Fighter II, but that's it. I really need to play an RPG before bed, probably Wild Arms 5. I also plan to play something on PSP. I played some Bomberman Live earlier today.

Birthdays should be spent in bars. Birthdays=free shots. Free shots=win. It's early enough in the semester to get hammered on a Tuesday..

I should have been so lucky, my birthday's in summer!

All I played was a bit of landstalker on VC today. Pretty fun, but the isometric view is a killer. I was going to play Jeanne D'arc while waiting at a doctor's appointment, but I read fitzgerald instead, and did not regret it.

i would have to agree. birthdays for me usually consist of people coming over for a party at my apartment, some gaming, but that usually isn't until 3 am or later after people start passing out.

Got the Darkness and Blue Dragon in the mail today from Gamefly, so I have plenty to play.

Also anyone interested in Bioshock and/or Madden 08 360, I'm selling both for 40 apiece. Let me know if interested. Both are in mint shape and will ship via first class for free.

Played more Forza2 last night. I've been progressing really slowly, but progressing nonetheless. I'm still shitty with rear-wheel drive. I wonder if using the wireless wheel would help with that?

Also played more Super Metroid. I forgot how hard it was. :p

just got done playing the medal of honor demo on XBL and I have to say I'm very impressed with it. Definately going to give this one a try when it comes out.

still playing too much monster hunter freedom... stuck at this guy:

(be warned... horrible music)

It's 5am and I can't get to sleep for some reason...probably too much caffeine.

For some reason I'm playing The Getaway Black Monday. I remember getting it for $2 from Best Buy and never beating it, so when I gave up on falling asleep I chose to play it for some reason.

Played some more Metroid and FFIII last night. Got finished with Norion in the first, and found that a couple levels makes a huge difference in FFIII as I was easily able to take out the two bosses preceding the World of Darkness. Think I'll take care of a few optional sidequests before moving on there.

I'm sure that some of the changes made to Prime 3 are a turnoff or "meh" to big fans of the series, but for someone like me who never really got into the earlier games, I really enjoy the addition of people besides Samus and the slightly bigger focus on story.

Yesterday was slow, due to senior project trouble. I did play some Warhawk online and had some fun. Look to do more later today.

Right now I'm trying to finish Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, and I'm also (slowly) working through Phoenix Wright 2, plus a little bit of Final Fantasy V Advance on the side. Math homework? What math homework? :whistle2:&

Eternal Punishment not so eternal anymore!!

Just cause I'm needy, I'm looking for an xbox 360 power brick and cord if anyone hapens to have a spare one from an old system or something..

i've gotten back into final fantasy tactics advance and now that seems all i'm playing. and watching those monster hunter freedom vids makes me want to go out and buy the game now. I loved the first one.

I couldn't sleep last night so I played some more FF:TA...

58 missions in now.

What am I playing? Demos and free games on my 360 because I OWN ONE! I'm loving this thing so much it's ridiculous. I didn't buy a game because I didn't have enough money left over but I did buy a 1600 points card. I'm thinking about getting Castlevania, Puzzle Fighter, or Geometry Wars. I might save 800 for SSFIITHD. Everyone should add me to their friends list even though I don't have anything to play online with.
