Just cause I'm needy, I'm looking for an xbox 360 power brick and cord if anyone hapens to have a spare one from an old system or something..
CheapyD has one!

Just picked up Picross DS and impulse bought a used copy of Grim Grimoire (I never see it used...)

Haven't had the urge to play anything since I ordered my PC...I just want to play some Oblivion at 60fps  and maybe maxed too?

besides Tekken online, my new obsession.

Yes, maxed Apossum. Go for it.

Anyway, I don't have much at school right now, but I've been playing the hell out of Super Castlevania IV. What an incredibly fun game.

Looks like I'll be paying around $175 altogether for my frankenstiened Xbox 360 core when all is said and done. Got a Red Ring system, microsoft power supply, and wired controller in 3 seperate auctions. (I kept the VGA cable and Hard Drive from an old system)

Now just to wait for them to arrive and for the system to get repaired by Microsoft..

Can't wait. Apparently there are some good upgraded texture packs for it already too.

great music in that game. from castlevania 1 the series has always had amazing music.

So CAG what PC games should I get? I'm already set on 'blivion, Stalker, the orange box, probably CoD4...only genre I'm not really into is RTS.
I'm wondering about more obscure titles.

9 hours into Persona 2 and I found a high school dungeon I can level up in!!

I guess I'll be doing that for a whole week...

Quake 4 is decent and a heck of alot better then the 360 version. Multiplayer is prettty fun also.

Just wait for UT3 that game looks so sick. Easily Multiplayer GOTY! Halo what?

Hellgate London looks promising, i just hope the free online part does not suck and to get a decent expirence online you dont have to pay.

Anyways we lost in our semifinals last night on the gears tourney, we played a MLG team so i didnt feel to bad about our loss. I also played some more Jeanne D'Arc and More Metroid Prime which i finally got the hang of and i am enjoying a heck of alot more then I was.

Doesn't Japan use different power connections? I don't believe I'd have much use for Cheapy's extra Power brick/AC cable in the US. I could be wrong, though. I got a official MS one for $40 shipped which isn't too terrible, as MS charges around $100 for replacement ones.

My highest recommendation is FEAR. The 360 version was, by comparison, a steaming pile of shit. Plus, you can get the expansion for FEAR on the PC. I'd also highly recommend Far Cry, which is nothing like it's console counterpart...

I'd also strongly recommend Tomb Raider Anniversary. It looks really good on the PC and it's, despite being a TR game, actually really fun.

And while I've never been into RTS games much myself, there's a select few I really like... namely Dawn of War. At least give the demo a shot.

Ah, good call! We talked about FEAR a long time ago, but after seeing that the 360 and PS3 versions turned out like shit, I just forgot about it. Now I gunna max that biatch.

The new tomb raider games are also a must buy for me...been meaning to play Legend forever. Finally found a 360 version for $10, but since I ordered the PC a few days later, I traded that shit right back in

So what about asian made games for the PC? J-rpgs? anything like that?

also, my parts got here today. well, everything but the graphics card, which Dell shipped via DHL. Who the hell uses DHL? That's the freaking Diet Rite of shipping services...card is supposed to get here monday. argh.

As a devout AZN (in a white man's body), I'm disappointed that there's really not much in the way of J-RPGs on the PC... at least, not in English. It's expensive, but maybe consider picking up Melty Blood AC Version B. It's got a lot of touches that make it a much more enjoyable game overall. Apart from that, I recommend:

Additionally, Himeya has a good selection of games in the Boys Love genre:

Thanks man, just ordered one of everything from the Boys Love genr....I mean, ahem, the hot, big titted, not underage chicks genre.

what was wrong with FEAR on 360? I played it a ton in single and multi.. Only problem was nobody else played multi. The PS3 version had bad textures and framerate, I'd heard.

I was hoping the 360 version would run the game close to the maxed out settings of the PC version, but a lot of people were saying it wasn't as smooth. plus, I'm a ~60fps whore. the $60 price tag was laughable, considering the PC version was already around $19-29.

edit: looks the game actually is on par graphically according to reviews, but still, I can get a higher framerate and use a mouse and keyboard, so there's really no reason to get the 360 version. if anyone says achievements, I'll slap them

Working on Daxter PSP right now. Just finished MegaMan Powered Up on Easy with Mega, so I'll take a break from that for a little before I tackle it with the other characters and difficulties. Game seems endless.

I have 11 other PSP games to play, and I'm not sure what to tackle next. Probably Tekken or Katamari. I've got a sidecroller in Megaman so I don't want to start Maverick X, and I have a platformer/adventure in Daxter so I don't want to start Ratchet and Clank. Might crack open Lumines and get my puzzle on.

Also eagerly awaiting my Playasia ordering consisting of Nodame Cantabile for the Ds, as well as the Hori touch pen attachment, a Yoshi DS stylus, and and NSMB figure.
Strangle hold demo. Might I add loving it!
Yeah, it's good. But everything is so damn shiny.

Damn Unreal engine :bomb:

I think I'm done with FFIII... got fairly well handled by the end boss. I guess I did pretty well since he got to the point where I was consistently being hit with the a 75% damage attack as one of his four. Don't really have any interest in replaying that last God knows how many hours since the last save opportunity, so I'll just pretend I beat it.

So what'd you think of FFIII overall, bot? I'm really, really close to selling it after playing only about 30 minutes. Just seemed extremely average. As of right now, I'm thinking the FF's before IV were ultimately worthless.

*Thinks of how incredibly awesome FFIV DS is going to be*

Gawd I hope FFIV is out this year.

Gawd I hope FFIV is out this year.
I'd recommend sticking with it for a bit longer before making a decision. Once you get the first handful of new jobs, you get a lot more opportunity to tune your party how you want. And really, I didn't get into the game until I had played it for ten hours, put it down for a few months, and then started it back up. Played 15 hours in the last week or so. Airships make it so much more bearable.

However, it's not going to stack up to IV and VI, if you're looking for story. While they did a great job of adding some additional story elements above and beyond what you would have seen in the first game, it's still pretty barebones. I love the 3D though, can't wait for the inevitable VI DS, as long as they don't screw up Sabin's character design.

playing Dynasty Warriors: Gundam right now. Completed the game with Heero but Kamille last stage is pretty hard. I like it so far and hope to see an expansion pack

I noticed that, but it really hasn't bothered me. I have however noticed a few slowdown/stop moments when the action got intense. I hope they fixed that since it did get annoying to all of a sudden be blasting and diving and then right in the middle of it get a s-l-o-w-d-o-w-n. other then that great game, can't wait for it.

I did the exact same thing. Final Fantasy 3's ending is officially the last boss does an uber attack and kills the lot of them, sending the world into peril. The end.
wait... bible black was mentioned a while ago and I wasn't here?! what has this world come to????
I even had pics, but it looks like the mods didn't appreciate them.

I fired up PSP before goin to bed yesterday and popped in Mega Man Power Up I got from foundation's great sell off.

shyt is the HOTNESS~!!! definitely liking the game man!

I've been gaming a bit more lately, due to taking a little break.

On PS3, I've been playing Warhawk online, mostly dogfighting. The game is still a lot of fun to play. I opened Dynasty Warriors GUNDAM on it and I'm enjoying that too. Definitely very addicting. I play a little Tekken 5 DR Online.

On PSP, I'm about to open Jeanne D'Arc, but in the mean time, I'm playing a certain game which I'm reviewing/previewing, that won't be out for a while. Not telling which game that is. ;)

On PS2, shockingly that I'm not playing Persona 3. I decided to play Wild Arms 5 instead, since I'm mostly a Wild Arms fanboy. I'm really loving it and it may be my favorite in the series.

On 360, nothing much, other than an occasional Bomberman Live and Streets of Rage 2. I really need a new 360 game, but the game I want most comes out soon, Eternal Sonota. Blue Dragon is the only game I really want, which I haven't purchased, but it's 8th on my wislist currently.

On DS, I occasionally play Sonic Rush, but I'm about to open Mega Man Star Force Leo soon. I may get a few more DS games and start to play mine more.

going home today, so it's going to be the handhelds getting some loving. probably some FFTA and final fantasy III on the ds most likely.

I played Wii Sports for about 10 minutes to remind myself how I feel about that game. I'm writing a review of it now, and thankfully, my opinion hasn't changed.

I SHOULD be playing Bioshock considering it was the reason i went out and bought an Xbox360.. but, i've actually been playing Worms on xbox live.
People are going to try and kill you over that probably, but I agree with your review :p
Yeah, I'm guessing the response is either going to be "YOU DONT UNDERSTAND WII SPOTS (sic)!!!" or "YOU JUST MADE A REVIEW THAT WAS BAD CAUSE YOU THINK IT MAKES YOU CONTROVERSIAL AND MAKES YOU COOL BUT IT DOESN'T11111111111111111111111111111111111111111 !!!!!"

But yeah... fuckin' hate it.

Finished Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap and Trace Memory, and now I'm working on the second case of Phoenix Wright 2. I'm actually gettng really tired of the interactive novel genre, though (it's why I'm not playing Hotel Dusk: Room 215!), so I'm only sort of poking at it once in a while. :whistle2:|

Played some co-op map GRAW2 w/teh co-workers late last night. Fun time, when the connection was stable.

Today, the wife went to a baby shower, so I played some T5DRO arcade and survival mode while the kiddies are takin' their afternoon nap. I just loves me this game, but I'm sooooo horrible at it.

Also, I just finished playing the PS3 Stranglehold demo just to see what I got myself into. Haven't read any forum feedback on it yet, but I will say here that it's disappointingly choppy and "jaggier" than the 360 demo. Could that be why de game be delayed? Lol at teh 1337 MB size.

Now I'm waitin' for NBA '08 for PS3 to finish downloading. Damn it's slow for a 600MB file.

I'm fighting the last boss in Syphon Filter Dark Mirror and it's annoying as hell. I have below half of my health and no armor. There is no health to be found anywhere, which is gay because the boss fight with the tank, which was super easy, had like 2-4 health pickups. By the time I get the chest opened for armor and it's loading it on, it's half gone again. Switching guns also lowers my bar. I'm basically doing it dead. This sucks. I came close to beating him but some mother fucker from behind killed me. Didn''t pop up the whole time I was in the same location but right when I'm about to beat him they come from behind. Go figure. :bomb:

Finally took the wrapper off FFVA. This will be the first time I really play through it since I couldn't bother with more than an hour or so of the ROM back in the day. I already find myself missing the analog control of FFIII, can't wait for all these to be remade on DS.
