And, as far as LSC/CB is concerned, those are definitely not the same address, since one has always been able to order the same prize to different apartments/suites in the same building... ;)

I haven't ordered it, but I say start the bid around $100, and sell it ASAP because Windows 7 is coming out soon and then no one will want Vista.

I ordered a xbox back in early May and have not received any word on it. This would be the first prize I have not received, and it is nearing the 12 week mark. Would emailing them be the right approach?
 
Crud Crud Crud. Has anyone ordered the Play and Charge Kit around 6/16 and not gotten it or a confirmation yet? I see a few of you did. I think I may be flagged. I wish they would just tell me. I've had very good luck receiveing prizes up till now.

Well, if you only had/have one account, then I would email them when it hits the 12 week mark. I have gotten item shipped or tickets refunded in the past, so the auto-flag-if-you-email is not true... But those accounts were squeaky-clean.

If there is any reason you wouldn't want a person to take a closer look at your order(s) and possibly an other accounts you have, then I would just leave it be.

Keep in mind they shipped out over 100 packages in the 15 lb range on Tuesday, in stark contrast to the single-digits normally seen. I think it is too early for the tents to ship (don't know how much that will weight yet), and several people got received shipping/tracking emails for older (April?) prizes shipping Mon and Tue. Hopefully your console was in that batch?

I am not playing as much but, my OG account that did not get bunch of prizez ordered on teh 5/1. I still do the 2 points a day time capsule game, it haz 72k tix and a bunch of redeemed prizes not received. But my second account that did the AT stuff for 3 days got the play and charge kit ordered on 6/22. And it seems to be cool-s0rz so I will play on that one from now on. I miss the picture this game though. Really weird maybe they wanted to punish me but still wanted me to play to give them searches LOL, they took away the better account but is throwing me a bone by shipping the play n charge on the account with lower tix total. I ordered play n charge on both accounts to test if they were fo sho gone-skiz and only got it on the one I used AT on. I dont get it.

So do you get in trouble if you haz 2 account with 2 totally different address and names (not just an apartment number difference)? But they are accessed from the same computer and same IP. Does that get you flag-s0rzed? That is my situation now with 1 account seemingly getting teh boot that was in my name with the way higher total.


Oh yeah to the guy that made teh poastz about a possible incorrect address, it wuz lol. I still LOL to this day about it. but you spelled mii name Muraz instead of muzras. Dont know if that was on purpose but I liked the Loss and in teh KALIFOrniaZ

I'm reading that people are saying you can run out of tickets on games and no longer play those games. Is this true? Why would this happen and how can you get more tickets then? I don't care for any other games they have on there. Can i just cancel my account when that time comes and then create a new one with the same shipping address and same contact name? Would this be ok even though my last account that i canceled had the same address and name?

i just found today that yesterday those 3 movies where shipped via mail and the water bottle was shipped ups on my wife's account. I ordered them on 06/24/09 and in a couple of weeks i hope to see my zune being shipped :)

Does anyone know how the xbox 360 wireless controllers get shipped? along with the xbox games?

Got Lost Odyssey today, and honestly the game is packaged in the box in the worst way I've ever seen. One of my disks was floating around in the case, while disk 4 was in a sleeve tucked in with the manual. :) luckily no scratches now I'm just waiting for the gaming mouse then I'm back into bing

Each game has a set number of puzzles. For example, and I'm just going to make up numbers here, Flexicon only has 1000 puzzles, allowing for a maximum of 25000 tickets. After finishing all 1000 puzzles, there's nothing left to do, and so you can't earn any more tickets from playing Flexicon.

Now, in the past, people would just open another account and keep playing Flexicon to earn points (new account means access to the 1000 puzzles). In the past, there was no problem with doing this, or even having multiple accounts and getting 2000 points a day playing Flexicon. Prizes would be ordered to the same name and same address.

However, there is now concern about accounts getting banned/flagged due to multiple accounts. For now, I suggest just playing with one account and focus on maxing that out. If you recently started, it will be a long time before you max out on the money games--Chicktionary (sp?), Spelling Bee, Word Slugger, and Flexicon.

Don't really care about 360 stuff but joined to help get some free airline miles for my sister in college. Maybe more interesting stuff will show up. Anyways, time to brush up on this thread. :D

i do understand that it will take awhile to max out on each game, but once i do, can i just cancel my account and start a new one with the same shipping address and name? Have you done this, or has anyone done this after they changed over to bing and are more strict now? It's kind of dumb that if they won't allow you to start a new account with your old account being canceled.

"You may redeem your tickets for various prizes. You can also donate your tickets to a charity or school of your choice. When donating your tickets to a charity or school, each ticket may be donated for one penny. When you are on the Prizes page you will have an opportunity to donate a lump sum or all of your tickets at that time. For example, if you donated 1000 tickets, your charity or school would receive a $10.00 donation. See Club Bing Terms and Conditions for more details."

I don't think you can cancel an account.

However, if you have maxed out an account, placed your orders, and (most importantly) stopped gaining any tickets on that account, then you can simply create a new account and start over again.

The rules specifically state that you are not allowed to use more than one account to exceed the 1000 ticket per person per day rule.

If you don't use your original account ever again, then you will not violate that rule, and thus you should get all your prizes on your new account as well.

I would wait a few days between 'retiring' the old account and starting up with a new one... Just to be safe.

It has been determined, several times over, that the current account flaggings are not as simple as 1-account-per-address. People have been getting prizes from more than one account at the same address, but under very specific conditions.

But for now, the 1-account-per-address is a valid 'rule of thumb' to prevent you from accidentally getting flagged... So as long as you are only using 1 account for each address that you can ship to, you should be fine.

I know it's been answers, but I'll answer again just for kicks. I said that people would just open a new account after being finished with all the games. I also said that people would order to the same name and address.

The big problem is that the new restrictions are still being tested out, which I'm thinking I also said. That's why I suggested just worry about only your one account, because it will be a long, long time before you will think about opening a new account if you're only playing with one account.

Also, about canceling accounts, no one does that. Just create a new one. You can cancel your email account, but there is no point, as far as I know.

I dumped a bunch of tickets and I recall being forced to choose amongst a few charities. I bet your local schools aren't on Bing's list.

Just ordered Forza 2 :D!

...FINALLY after procrastinating for three months :roll:. I got the Platinum Hits version of Gears of War from Club Bing, so I hope that they send me the Platinum Hits version of Forza 2--that new bonus disc with all the DLC that's not free on XBL would be VERY nice.

PGR4 is the only 360 game I still haven't ordered yet. So, hopefully, I can play enough games to order that by next weekend.
 
I emailed them and asked about my main account. They emailed me back and said that they would look into it. I got another email friday saying that my basketball and football were being shipped. They also told me that they were going to ship Gears of War and Scene It.
 
For some reason they refunded me Lost Odyssey which I ordered June 28th. I looked on the website and its still available for purchase. What the heck is up with that?

I only use 1 acct and haven't botted. Maybe they don't have anymore and forgot to email me or take it off the website

Hello all,
I have 2 Xbox 360s from the now Club Bing, because they had a bundle about 2 years ago only 35k tickets, when it was Live Search Club, and the most recent regular XBOX360 without the bundle, 55k tickets. Remember, only one of each type item they post (if different in type which it was). The first one, in 18 months, my first one red ringed on me. No warranty, no problem. I fix computers in my spare time so I used LLAMMA.com to check the repair steps for possibly fixing it myself. About 2.5 hours later & $30, my Xbox 360 was purring again, with no RRoD. :) Since then, it's done it again, again fixit it the same way but only reapplying the Arctic Silver 5 to the processors, the overheating it 3 times (see the site for details).
SO since it wasn't very dependable, I ordered a 2nd one.
I got in on June 23, 2009, just shy of 1 month ago. This morning, low & behold, the disk drive wouldn't open. My disk was stuck inside and I was furious.
When they send out their Xbox 360s they are usually from 2006, refurbs that died early on. Well, when you register on XBOX.com, the warranties are expired. BUT if you call them to tell them about this issue, the first time might be a little aggrevating because XBOX Tech support doesn't know what CLUBBING.com is. So after getting ticked off at the first guy. I hung up, looked up how to get my disk out, as there is a manual button to use to pop it open. This from XBOX Tech Support but they didnt' go into any detail, so I again looked at LLAMMA.com. I called them again & spoke to a very nice fellow who understood my issue. There should be 1 year warranties reset on any refurbs they send but they don't automatically update them. They only do so upon request. SO call them back & ask them to update the Warranty Status on your XBOX360 and you need to them to create a PROOF OF PURCHASE REPORT. They will email you the steps, you follow them & BANG. They will update the status of your warranty on XBOX.com so you can print your label & send it on it's way to get repaired. I used the emails that CLUB BING sent me with the UPS tracking # & order #, which should show not only the ship date but UPS.com should show the day it was delivered to you.

BOTTOM LINE: You can get your refurb system from CLUB BING repaired, but call 800-4MY-XBOX and ask them to update the Warranty Status on your XBOX360. They will create a PROOF OF PURCHASE REPORT.

I also got refunded for the razor scooter this morning and it is still available. I don't know what is up.

I can only say that, if you are suspected of botting, they aren't going to refund your worthless tickets either.

I'm not sure what the issue is. That's not it though.

Well thats good. I didn't think I was in trouble. The only reason I could think of was that maybe they didn't like that my girlfriend has an msn account she uses on the same computer. She doesn't play clubbing though so I didn't think it would be a problem.

Do you get notified of the refund? I ordered Too Human a while back like 3 weeks, and still have gotten nothing from clubbing. Usually my prizes ship within the week.

Within the week? You must be talking about some other promotion because Bing doesn't ship out prizes for at least a month after ordering them.

I had a water bottle refunded today... should have shipped today...was ordering it to work addy.. which the new mailing system gave it a strange address so I'm thinking that's why it was refunded

A member on this very forum (A Gamer) has posted his theory on a few other sites, so I'll go ahead a repost it here for those who haven't seen it yet:

First, let me explain how I believe the process is supposed to work:
- CB takes the order;
- 29-30 days pass (may be some exact number, based on business days, whatever);
- CB validates the order by checking to see if the specified address has already received the prize in question (any any other account validation?);
- if everything checks out, they send the fulfillment order to Arvato; if things do not check out, the proceed with the appropriate account actions (refund tickets, flag account, etc).

At that point CB is done with the order. And from this point forward it is Arvato's process:

- they receive the fulfillment order, and fulfill the orders in chronological order, as soon as they can. Currently, the fulfillment requests are relatively low, so they are able to fulfill virtually as soon as the orders arrive.

And this is where the recent oddities come in...

In the event that an item is not available at the fulfillment center, the order gets placed into a 'back-order' file at Arvato.

Once the item comes back in stock, Arvato does NOT start fulfilling the prizes in the back-order file first, rather they resume fulfilling the new inbound orders as usual.

Then, at some later date (obviously I have no idea what triggers this event), they fulfill back-orders for that specific prize, in bulk.

Some examples to support this theory:

- many consoles ordered in April were not shipped on time;
- I had 3 consoles ship right on schedule, one ordered late April, and the other 2 early May.
- although LSC/CB usually ships out under 10 consoles a day, there are a few days in May when none shipped at all;
- on July 21 Arvato shipped out over 100 packages weighing 15 lbs, and many people indicated that they recieved shipping/tracking confirmations on their consoles missing from April.

So, at some point in May, when MS was submitting the April fulfillment requests, Arvato was short on consoles. When they got them back in stock towards the end of the month, they started shipping out the new orders (like mine). They did not fill the backordered consoles until July 21, at which point they shipped out over 100 of them on that one day.

Similarly, on 7/24 they shipped out roughly 50 packages each weighing 0.40 and 0.10 lbs. Both normally ship less than 10 per day, so again unusual shipping 'spike'. I received confirmation from a couple people that they received shipping/tracking for the earbuds (0.40 lb), which were 'late'. I can only assume that at some point the earbuds were back-orders, and they just filled those in-bulk on Friday. I don't know what the 0.10 packages are yet, but again I suspect that those were also some back-ordered item, possibly from April, getting back-filled in bulk.

Additionally, they also fulfilled a bunch of 'late' Vista and Zune orders on 7/20, although because the weight is so close to many other prizes, it is not nearly as evident that there was a 'spike' in those weight categories. However, considering they shipped over 1000 packages on Monday, easily double of their Monday load these days, I can only assume that a lot of those 1000 packages were actually back-ordered prizes...

Now, if you look at it from a recipients side...
- orders Vista in the first week of April;
- orders Zune last week of April;
- neither ships in May, to recipients dismay;
- in the mean time, other people are getting their stuff on time?
- then, on April 7/20 he gets shipping confirmation for both...

To him, it would indeed appear that prizes are shipping out totally random. How else would his prizes ship on the same day, ordered the first week and last week of April? All the while other people that ordered the same prize weeks after he did, already got theirs...

Without seeing the lulls and then delayed 'bursts' of shipping of certain prizes it would indeed appear to be random...

And, yes there were other such shipping spurts... Like 85 consoles shipped 2/23, 152 prizes weighing 0.10 lb shipped on 3/27, and 1500 drills shipped on 4/23. So, it would appear that this week's 'micro-anomolies' are actually part of the normal operating procedure on a macro-level... Just hard do see if you don't have 40 thousand shipping records to 'play' with...

And as long as Arvato fulfills the orders within the designated 8-12 week designation, MS has no reason to interfere with Arvato's back-order procedures. And, there is no reason for MS to even investigate a missing prize until it has passed that designated period. Mostly because I doubt anyone at MS could easily determine what has and has not shipped without contacting someone at Arvato (note that the shipping/tracking emails come from Arvato and not MS). And, thus the canned 'wait 12 weeks' response.

Again, this is just a theory that seems to explain the shipping spurts from last week, along with the seemingly 'random' shipping behavior of some of the prizes.
 
Sadly, the theory of mine re-posted above does not pertain to the many, many prizes ordered after 5/30 that have not shipped. Which seems to be a quite different problem. Course, figuring out exactly what that problem is has been made that much trickier thanks to the sometimes random appearing shipping occurrences (see above). :roll:
