Yeah, the reason I said "AWESOME" is because my sister just started doing Club Bing this month (FINALLY...after she saw all the prizes I got over the Summer). And she will be using the same address that I use for most of my prizes. I thought that the $600 limit was per address--I was worried that I wouldn't be able to order as much stuff because we'd both be "Binging." So hearing that is per PERSON just got me so excited. "Yay, I don't have to share prize amounts!" Lol!

On another note, Tuesday I found out that someone else in my town is doing Club Bing! *GASP* :shock:

I checked the tracker site that evening and it showed 3 packages that were shipped on the 24th. I'm waiting on 4 packages, so I thought those were my the first three--Kameo, 5K-ticket wireless mouse/keyboard combo and the USB microsoft headset (but I' only got a shipping email for Kameo). I checked the tracker again Thursday morning and "3" packages turned to "8." There was a 10 lb packagae, an 8lb package, a 5lb package, a 1lb package and the rest were under 1lb. :hot:

I was shocked! "Who is this person?" "How did they find out about Club Bing?" "What in the world did they order that weighs 8lbs and 10lbs?" "The weights and the food processor?" :lol:

Yeah, I know it sounds silly. I just found it surprising that someone living somewhere nearby is more dedicated to getting prizes than *I* am. :lol: :applause:

Aw, don't feel bad. *I* check the OP all the time. The prize list with the weight for each prize reads like a very organized column of information. The amount of information that you, daftpunk, A gamer and others have contributed to this thread is really amazing to me.

My only suggestion would be to add:

"Each Club Bing account is limited to ordering up to $600 in prizes per calender year. If orders meet or exceed $600, Microsoft requires players to fill out a W-9 tax form to continue receiving any additional prizes during that calender year. "

You can add that at the end of the "Prizes" section or under the "Multiple accounts FAQ" section (and feel free to reword it if you want). The picture in the OP is a nice touch, and most of us know about the $600 prize limit, but the only fuzziness in info I can think of is "$600 per address or per account?" (since the screen cap of Microsoft's notice doesn't explain the $600 limit when more than one person in a household "Bings"). The statement above clarifies it for everyone...if they read the OP. :lol:
 
The new Chicktionary on Ice loads a lot faster in between games. Has anyone else played it and noticed this? I had abandoned Chicktionary for Spelling Bee but I will definately be going back to it while this On Ice version is out.

I saw my sister playing Chicktionary on Ice last week, and things looked a little "snappier" than I remember, but I haven't played Chicktionary at all for a few months. I might test it out tomorrow and see if there IS a change. Flexicon, on the other hand, is a headache to use now. Fall Flexicon was PERFECT--you could enter words and click searches as fast as you wanted. But now if you type too fast, captchas come up left and right. I typed in some 5-letter answers for one game and got a captcha for every third word. :roll:

Bing fixed the issue where captchas would come up with too many search clicks at once. But now just typing in ONE word too fast will get you a captcha (something Fall Flexicon fixed that I hoped we'd see after Bing changed it back to plain old Flexicon last week). Oh, well. :lol:

Play for double tickets tomorrow and save your tickets for December. I'd be VERY surprised if we don't see ANY new prizes by the end of next month. I'm just hoping the Xbox 360 makes a return (please be a 2007+ model :lol:). It would suck for you to have a good amount of tickets saved up and end up not using all of your $600 prize limit on something worthwhile before the end of 2009.

Random question: Does anyone know when MS Office 2007 was taken off? I took a break from Bing after last Tuesday, and when I started playing again yesterday, I noticed it was gone.

well it's always been a debate... but the cutover on bing is as 7pm est... so technically it's monday on the site

For me, at least, the debate is whether you get tickets if you start before midnight Eastern time the night before (so before 12 am eastern tonight). However, the Club Bing home page says that double tickets end at 12 am PST tomorrow (so that would be 3 am Eastern time Tuesday). Speaking from last week's experience, I maxed out three accounts after the 7pm est day change Wednesday (Tuesday evening) and I got the bonus 1,000 tickets for all three accounts (double-checked all three as I was typing this). So it's DEFINITELY possible to get the tickets after 7pm tomorrow.

I'm guessing it WILL work until 3am est tomorrow, but I'm unsure about getting the tickets between 7pm est and midnight tonight. I don't see why anyone wouldn't get the bonus tickets, but I haven't played before midnight on double ticket days to find out. :lol:
 
Anyone else not getting double tickets when they play games?

*Never mind, I just saw the fine print that they show up later. Sorry, this is my first double day.*

Mini DVD-R discs (there are +R and -R discs like regular CDs and DVDs). The ones I've seen only record about 30 minutes of video:

Think I got screwed on Double day... I must of gotten some points last night that counted for today but didn't count towards the double day points...

Also, has anyone ever used one of the "Optisol Solar Mobile Charger" things? Seems kind of like a cool idea.

Yes, you can save video to the pro duo cards. IMO, you'd be better off in the long run and picking up a high-capacity cards and re-use it over and over, as the discs can get expensive after awhile. At least thats what I'm going to do.

The Entertainment desktop didn't go up until Nov 3rd. It shouldn't start shipping until tomorrow at the earliest. The Ergonomic went up on the 27th of October. It shipped on the 25th and I got mine yesterday.

Well, it is pretty early in the day. Often prizes show up in the late afternoon or even the evening. However, there's absolutely no reason to believe that rumor. When has anyone ever successfully predicted the day a prize would show up? It's just someone having some fun.

Ooops my bad it is indeed the ergonomic that is coming Thursday. It was ordered 10/27/2009

I ordered the entertainment on 11/3/2009 so I would expect to see that next week sometime.

I personally prefer to wait until I actually have the item in my hands because that's the "real" amount of time it took to get it. Regardless, I ordered the 360 controller on November 2nd, received the shipping confirmation on November 30th.

Got shipping confirmation for Lost Odyssey (ordered 10/29), it'll be here next monday (12/7).

Now just waiting on my 360 controller for PC and the 360 wireless headset, ordered 11/8 and 11/17 respectively.

EDIT: club bing is currently updating, dang I hate that now is the normal time I get all of my tickets :(

I don't think 11/02 shipped yet. I was hoping they would have shipped last night, but due to the T-Day holiday they are a bit behind. I did see several people had 11/01 orders ship yesterday, so hopefully the 11/02 orders will ship today.

Prizes are added/removed on-the-fly without having to take down the site. And they rarely change the prize line-up during the weekly maintenance outage.

However, I was pleasantly surprised to see my bonus tickets were awarded... (also nothing to do with the maintenance)
