Ordered a Play and Charge kit.

Now debating on whether or not to get the LifeChat headset, or just hold on to my tickets. It'd be nice to have a headset for my computer, but I don't really need one...

I was on the fence about it, too, but then I read some reviews on Amazon, and it doesn't sound very good. I'm a few thousand tickets short now after ordering the camera and GPS, though, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Yeah it works Ben Franklin style, you got hook up a key to the kite during a thunderstorm, and it delivers juice to the controller. Ingenious if you ask me. Can't wait to receive it! =D

Damn look at that camera! I'm going to try and get the tix for the camera by the end of next week. Hopefully it stays up there long enough!
 
Got the kitchen stuff. In need of a new whisk and can opener so this can't come soon enough. Want the Patagonia vest too, that would go nice under the snowboard jacket, I think.

Just had my playing cards ship (ordered on an account just to make sure it wasn't banned) ordered Nov-13th shipped today Dec-11

Hope they get more keyboards or refund the tickets I wouldn't mind using those spent tickets now.
 
It's weird but I enjoy the kitty and doggy thingy it gives my typing hands a while to rest while I pick the kittys. I'm glad they put a lot of big ticket items so that they will stay up slightly longer.
 
YAY! I just ordered the Sony digital camera on my backup account. I finally got enough tickets to get it tonight. I just hope they actually ship it. :lol:

And the new kitty addition is cute, but it gets weird when there are "in-between" pictures. Today I got about four or five pics of cats AND dogs in the same photograph (not sure if they counted as "cats" or not). And there was one photo where the animal show didn't face the camera, so I couldn't tell if it was a kitten or a very young puppy. Still, it's cute and it hasn't gotten old yet. :)
 
I have a quick question: Can I use one account for 2 addresses?

(I'm saving up for the gps and plans to send it to my sister, then any other prizes after that of course I'm sending to me. However, I'm afraid CB might flag me for that). Any thoughts/advice?

If your first prize redemption is to 2 different addresses, it should send. However, you should put 2 different names if you're sending to the same address. Like a shortened version, or just an initial. Just don't put the same exact name on the same address. It works for me. Also, I recommend not ordering the items on 2 different accounts on the same day if sending to the same address.

(Sorry if I'm not very clear, I'm really sleepy right now)
 
Does anyone have any experience with the blender? I looked at the reviews on amazon and the majority of them are either 5 or 1 star. I know the brand is good, but not sure if I wanna dump that many tickets on something unreliable.
 
Does anyone know what the weight of "The Lost Symbol" book would be? I got a package coming to my town that 2.30lbs and I'm eager to know if it could be my book.
 
It's somewhat annoying that UPS hasn't updated the tracking info on my controller for windows. Still says billing info received like it has for the past 4 or 5 days now...

The LifeChat ZX-6000 (which I believe is the wireless headset you are referring to) does NOT work with the XBOX 360 console. You can use the dongle that comes with the LifeChat ZX-6000 to connect X360 wireless controllers to a PC (up to 4), but not the other way around.

Where? That's a support document relating to connecting the headset with a 360 controller, not a 360. You can use the adapter that comes with the headset for an xbox 360 controller. Look at the "applies to" section, there is no mention of "Microsoft XBox 360 Video Game System" which is the listing displayed on articles that relate to the xbox 360, like this one.

That help page is actually telling you how to use the LifeChat's receiver to connect you controller to your PC. The receiver for the LifeChat headset is the same as the receiver that comes with the Games for Windows 360 controller except that it's black. The LifeChat headset can't be used on the 360 because it needs drivers which can't be installed.
 
Quick question: when you reach the $600 IRS mark, does CB tell you right away while redeeming the prize or do they deduct the tickets then email you the notice? Also, if they do take your tickets, do they refund them if you choose not to fill out that W9 form? Thank you!

When you click the redeem button on a prize you will be taken to a page about filling out an IRS form if that prize will put you over the $600 mark. I don't know if they refund your tickets if you fail to fill out the form.
 
Thanks for answering my question, louiedog. I have another question, I ordered a mini football and got shipping confirmation email on 11/24 saying that it's shipped via usps, but I still haven't gotten it. So, how long does usps take or should I just assume that they lost my package? (no tracking number for the usps though)
 
I know this was talked about before on here but i dont remember the answer....How long does it take before your points expire? I just checked my 1st account and noticed that my points were zeroed out. I DO NOT do any botting what so ever and was very perplexed as to why they zeroed me. Then i went to my history and seen that they EXPIRED....NOOOOOOOO!!!! I have 2 other accounts that i have not touched in a while and i am afraid this might happen to them. Does anyone know how long it takes for points to expire.

I can't remember exactly, but I think it's either 60 or 90 days of inactivity. I'm sure someone can tell you exactly, but that's why when I wasn't playing much, I'd at least log in once a month and play one game.

logging in at least once a month and playing one game is not a bad idea at all, i have 2 other accounts that i have not touched in a long time with 85000 on one and 35000 on the other....Thx dude

If you have no activities for 180 days, the tickets expire. This is a quote from the Terms & Conditions "Unused tickets shall expire if you do not participate in an Activity or redeem tickets for a prize while signed in with your Windows Live ID for 180 days."
Sorry about the tickets.

Ohh, I just thought of a question. So CB says if you max out on the $600 and won't fill out the IRS form after 4 wks, they'll cancel the prize order and refund you the tickets. But does anyone know if the prize would still count as a redeemed prize for that household (like when your account if flagged & you don't get the prize, but the prize is still considered redeemed for that address). Thanks everyone who answers my silly questions.
 
I really hope the 360 wireless headsets ship this week, my wired one died this past week (and was traded in to gamestop with no problems lol) and it would be great to have one for the holidays.

You get the W-9 form notice shown above before you have to commit to ordering the prize, so no tickets will have been deducted if you choose not to proceed. ;)

If they refund you the tickets, they will also remove it from your list of redeemed prizes, so you will be able to order that prize again in the future. :applause:

Tickets on an account are expired after 180 days (6 months) of inactivity. Activity is defined as gaining or redeeming tickets, so simply logging into your account and viewing the current prizes or your current tickets is not enough to keep the account alive. :cry:

I've always been paranoid about losing the tickets on my extra two accounts that I rarely use. So I always play all of them at least once a month to keep the balance (lately on double ticket days).

To mrmagoo: if you mostly use your main account, max that one out and play as many games as you can on any additional accounts. Even though the rules say 180 days, make it a personal rule to not miss more than 30 days. Write it on a calender if you have to. There's nothing worse than seeing the result of someone's hard work go unsued.

I think I died a little inside seeing your expired ticket amount. :cry: Best of luck in the future.
