What is everyone's best impression of point-value for the prize?

I'm just winding down an account and getting ready to ignore it and start a new one for the anagram puzzles.

It would depend on how many points you have, previously the best were the 360 controllers but who knows when they will come back (and at how many tickets).

And back ordered cameras being shipped is great news, hope they catch up quick can't wait for my brother to be surprised by the one I ordered him on 1/17.
 
I received shipping confirmation last night (late 2/17, early 2/18) for an order for the white 360 controller for windows that i ordered on 1/17.

I just got my Scrabble game today, it looks very nice, I never got an email to tell me it's coming though, strange. Anyways I ordered it 1-17-10, so exactly 1 month and 1 day since I ordered it.

There are sites that provide you with the answers, and as far as I'm aware, they aren't against Club Bing's TOS. Just Google, and I'm sure you'll find them.

Utilizing said sites, Chicktionary, Word Slugger, and Spelling Bee all used to take me around an hour to max out tickets (1000) for the night. I've since finished all the puzzles available for each. Currently, I'm doing Flexicon, and that takes me about 45-minutes of mundane work.

It's not difficult, but it can be mind-numbing at times. But if you spend an hour or so just watching TV or listening to music each night anyway, it's not a bad use of your time.

*sneaks out of lurky exile for a moment* I'm stuck between deciding on getting the hard drive now or grinding out the rest of the tickets for the eReader. I just got to 13000, and I guess I sort of need the hard drive, but I'd much rather have the eReader.

The EHD I'm using now is getting up in years (I think it's 6 years old now), but I greatly miss reading. Reading off my laptop hurts my eyes, and the library has nothing good I haven't already read. It just seems like the eReader would be really popular since those things are stupidly expensive and adding another two weeks on to the month it would take me to afford it would be a bad idea.

Yeah, pretty much the only use I can think of now is putting it in the trunk of my car with some stuff in it (like spare change of clothes or something), just in case.

My UPS guy is always coming at random times. Before it was around noon, then it was 2:30, today it was around 4:30.
 
My first order shows up tomorrow, although I don't get to open it till Tuesday... I have a friend who insists that there is no way possible they would ever send stuff out from the site, so I told him I'll bring it to class and let him see for himself. :p
 
Sweet, my 2nd account prizes shipped on Bing. I don't know why it took longer for them to ship than my 1st account, since I ordered from both on the same days. But I'm still out of this rat race. Good luck to everyone who is trying this new VIP thing. For my 2nd account I just used a different e-mail address and first name, and all the other information was still the same. Played on the same computer and browser, but I just signed out before signing into the second one. Alternatively, I've also played one account on Firefox and the other on Internet Explorer, just so I don't have to log back in and out. Hope this helps.

What did you order?
 
First thing I ordered on the 2nd account was Kameo game, no prize order verification e-mail sent. So after a couple days I ordered the pack of playing cards just to see if I would get a prize order confirmation e-mail, and I did. Anyway, I ordered the game the same day on my first account I ordered the recharge kit and watch on my first account. I just now got the e-mail for shipment of Kameo and the playing cards, and I got the e-mails for shipment for the recharge kit and watch a couple days earlier just like everyone else.
 
I'm pretty sure I'm done with this too. I got my quick charge kit yesterday, and think I'll drain the rest of my accounts on the e-reader. Seems to bring a pretty penny on ebay, so I think I'll just go for that. It's been a great run, nearly 2 years now. After Rock Band, the mixer, numerous copies of Vista Ultimate and more, I need to fold em' while it's still in my favor.

You're just saying that to provoke Bing into putting up a laptop and 32" TV.

I'm actually thinking just the opposite. I slacked off in the past couple of weeks from being burned out, but the influx of new decent prizes has me ready to get going again.

And I just can't decide if I want to pull the trigger on the reader. I have a couple of accounts that have the tix for it, but I'm not sure how much I would use it and I'm afraid as soon as I spend the tickets a laptop or something would pop up.
 
Alright, Ninja Gaiden II held on long enough for me to earn the tickets for it. Would have earned it a week ago, but I limit myself to 500 tickets a day to preserve my sanity.

Not at all. I know a few on here were waiting for a moment like this where they could sell their high-end accts. Myself would rather take the chance of not receving an item than to sell the acct. I have 7 accounts that have never been used for anything, and several others that have been used in the past, all with enough tickets, or extremely close, that would get an e-reader.

Basically anything that can be made with a regular blender, but in smaller portions. It's best for shakes, chopping nuts, liquefying soups, chopping vegetables, beating eggs, mixing things, etc. Really it is a great tool.

It rocks for baby food, too... Our little ones often ate the same stuff were did, we just pureed their portion directly in their bowl. Ours got used almost twice daily for years, and we probably saved a small fortune by not having to buy baby food (not to mention the preservatives, etc) in those jars.
 
woot my quick charge kit arrived :D I'm acctually surprised the UPS guy arrived at 12 lol. Even more is that this thing plugs into the wall? amazing lol :D now to wait for the camera as I build points to get the xbox {hopefully}

My advice would be to go for the e-reader, since it sounds like that's what you want, but to keep in mind that you may end up with neither it nor the HD while you attempt to accumulate enough tickets. Myself, I was 80 tickets away from getting a Zune the day they took it down, and they've yet to put it back up. I was upset, but when they put up the Sony camera and GPS, I had more than enough to get both. Bottom line: something will come along sooner or later that you want.

So I'd say it's worth a shot. The e-reader retails for $299 ($270 on Amazon), and you can get a bigger external hard drive than 160GB for a very reasonable price at any number of places. I bought a terabyte last year from NewEgg for I think $80, for example.

Good luck. I hope you get enough tickets for the e-reader in time if that's what you decide to aim for.

It's still early or you. Some people are still waiting on them from earlier in the month. Some shipped, but only a small batch. They are obviously back ordered and its going to take a while to get them out to everybody who ordered. Just sit back and wait it out bra.
 
Got my Quick Charge Kit today. After an epic battle with the clamshell packaging I discovered that it's defective. The included battery pack has a lopsided connection panel so it doesn't contact the pins on the charger unless you grab the charger and squeeze it a bit. One side of the charger had a pin that didn't protrude enough to contact the connection plate on the rechargeable pack I already have. I tried to pull the pin out a bit and it snapped off.

Nice.

Microsoft will honor the warranty considering it is brand new. If they ask for receipt, show them shipping confirmation/order confirmation from bing.

Trying to fix the pin myself may have voided the warranty. The "Do Not Attempt Repairs" warning may only apply to opening the case and breaking the warranty sticker/label, though. This was entirely external and was a direct result of it being "broken" in the first place. I suppose I could be a dirty liar and say it came with a missing pin...¬_¬

Not sure if it's even worth bothering with.
