I didnt see this posted but on several other forums this deal has been confirmed for Best Buys in Canada. Hopefully the US is doing this deal if not Ill try price matching it...

Does anyone know if this deal next week is valid in the USA as well?

No. USA is not doing this. Canada and US deals never cross-over. And people need to stop posting Canadian deals here because all it does is get American hopes up, get moved to the Canada forum, and clutter the Canada forum up as we usually already have the deal posted there.

Dood... a deal is a deal, and some of us live near the border (and/or have friends/family on the other side) that can snag up a good deal for us. I never knew this was an "America Only" forum.

Yeah, the main video game forum is basically "US Only". It's just how things work. Canadian deals are regional and those who want to take advantage of it can frequent the Canadian sub-forum or RedFlagDeals. Obviously deals that apply to both the US and Canada can be found on the main forum as well.
 
But will Circuit City or another retailer price match this if we show them the Canadian best buy website next week. My circuit city is filled with people that barely graduated high school and will price match anything if you arent a jerk to them.
 
Very unlikely. It may be worth the 10 seconds it takes to ask, but it's got about a 95% failure possibility. With that said if you live near the border maybe some fellow CAG's can hook you up with this deal.
