The multiplayer modes included in Call of Duty 3 could potentially host up to 24 players, although Nintendo has yet to confirm any details in regard to its online service as of the time of this preview. It seems that players will be able to join a match whenever they want. This will also be possible in the multiplayer offline mode, which will automatically turn into split screen as soon as someone else turns on a Wii Remote and enters the match.
